Dolphin rug question

I chose a dolphin rug for both of my accounts......the one with a fishing character lets me get a MIB, yet the other, without a fishing character will not let me. I have had one rug for 2 weeks, or longer, and.....it still says it produces once a week.

Any ideas on this?

Can you use your fisherman account to access it? IE put both of them in same house and try it?

I have been able to claim on any character on the account. Check to make sure your character is old enough. Sometimes characters age up at different rates. I had one that didn't age up for like 10 days. It's an old bug but might still be around. Other than that I don't know. Barring the obvious, make sure the character trying to claim is on the account that owns the house.

I wish they would change it to where you can use it in a house your co owned to. I wanted it in my fishing house but that account isn't old enough to use it

I appreciate the replies....and advice. I'll double check the characters, though I'm almost 100% certain, they're all old enough.

Keep in mind that it is not just characters that have to be old enough... the account holding the house they are placed in also has to be old enough... If the rug is in the house of a 3rd account that is not old enough - then try moving it to one of your other houses.

Double clicking is always stating, "The item only produces resources once per week."......also if I drag cursor on top of it, or over it, it shows a box....says Dolphin rug.....10 anniversary reward.....messages in bottle:0

The one rug working is in a plot newer than the one not working. I did try it in that house and nothing produces.....when I have the time to sit and wait for a GM, I will resend the predicament, and see what they can conjure up, as far as a solution.

Is there anything funny about the placement of the rug that is not producing? elevated on goza mats or any other deco tricks used? If not - I am about out of ideas on it...

Nope, just sitting on regular tiles.....either grass on roof, or tiles on first floor......no deco tricks.....a real head scratcher.
I'm just as baffled..............

I found the problem.........I think..........I logged onto "my account" and data shows my accounts show me hooking up with UO in Dec of 2002.........but my chars are showing 121 months right now.........I'm seeing my accounts at 120 months 3 months before they should actually be 10 years............why am I not surprised?

All of the old accounts (maybe all) should be this way. I forget why - but they added a 90-day bonus time to the accounts a long time ago. Either way - if the account age shows past 120 months - you should be able to use it.

I should is right, but, guess what? Still isn't working.....neither is the other one now.
Curious, if one redeeds the rug, does it reset a timer on it??........
