Oceania can be updated. The town criers in-game are announcing it at 21:00/9:00 PM ASDT (Eastern Daylight Savings Time I'm assuming). There will be an event following the coronation.

i think its more so the fact that everyone is finding it a little strange that this event jumped out of nowhere, and 80% of the shards DONT have it listed for when it will be, and more so that it seems strange that some shards have had it or are getting it tonight and others are not. for something like a new king i just kinda thought it would have come out to all shards at the same time. considering its only a 5 minute talk then cake and ice cream social after. (or at least ATL was)

no necessarily the fact that everyone is so damn lazy.

but i for one do appreciate the work ya did pulling it all together.

Its being held when the EM's per shard are able to do it. And everyshard that has done it so far, has had it announced beforehand.

Nope, EMs are not allowed to reveal their id.
If you look at the links. Atlantic's event was posted Friday by EM Tiberius on the EM board here on Stratics
Baja's was posted yesterday by EM Crysania on the EM board here on Stratics

Um, if you read the post it was concerning Drachenfels, where it clearly states in the links provided that there was an event on that shard yesterday (Which was unfortunately cancelled). They informed us of the sad news of a player passing, and the EM also answered a question concerning when the coronation will be.

Above it indicates as the date for Coronation on Drachenfels October 10th (10-10).
This link, Watchertoo , indicates a video for Drachenfels from October 7th (10/7).

I am not sure to understand whether Drachenfels Coronation has already been held or it will be held this coming Monday, October 10th..... Anyone knows ?

I agree, Moderated Events should have a much better advance notice.

Often I have to miss them because I get to know about them only a few days in advance. I cannot mess up my real life for a game so, if I have to get out of my way to attend an Event, I need to know it several days, preferably a week or even more before.

"If you read" what post? I only read this one. It implies people are lazy and that there was a meeting of some sort. Not where the meeting was, only that it apparently gave the dates/times (at the time of some) of the events. I have no characters on Drachenfels so have little reason to read a post regarding a meeting or event (or cancellation thereof) on that shard.
This post simply says that people are lazy and here are the event date/times for each shard. I haven't read any other post. I know there is a rule that says you cannot publicly say "I AM AN EVENT MODERATOR" but there is no rule against posting anonymously. I (perhaps falsely?) assumed EMs have meetings and such things like important event times and dates are discussed. Silly me.

Although the post started with an underhanded insult I thought you were just an EM trying to help people out on when event times were. Again, my mistake. Not sure why my mistake is such a big deal. I make lots of them. It certainly was not meant as any sort of attack, and I know you wouldn't be able to say one way or another if you were an EM, so my post was not directed at anyone in particular. (I do know of two people who have said they are EMs who do post here under different names, so it's not a huge stretch or a big deal either way)

See the links in the original post? The ones with information telling of an event on Sunday? At the meeting, the EM announced the date.

Will there be a youtube link at some point? I attended the one on Atlantic but I saw absolutely no text once Dupre took the carpet and nothing from Blackthorn. I don't know if it was a client issue or what. I could see all the spammers but no speech from them. I'd like to know what they said.

I have found it interesting watching the various coronations. One shard used benches, some had torches. One constant in all the coronations, is that you get immature folks who don't understand or care enough to be respectful and stand still. I had to turn off the footsteps sound as it was so distracting. But it's been that way since Sept. 1997.
