Got these from an IDOC last week and was just looking through the bag and thought they were cool.

AoS did cast a shadow over the game. I'd say the word 'Infliction is more fitting than Launch though.

I still have several pairs of "I survived AoS" sandals on Catskills.

Yeah..I have tons..but this is the only one I have seen with a shard name on it. They all say stuff like "Bucky survived the Age of Shadows" or something.

I just assume this one might have more value than the run of the mill ones is what i was getting at

Oh I see what you mean. That is odd. Could be character name, could be bug on a character or items of a character that got ported over to your server. Rhiannon always wears her sandles. She was SO grateful that she did survive that launch. It was a messy one.

Pretty much guarantee you that it was a char created with the name Atlantic Shard specifically for the rewards that we all (at the time) knew were coming... And, if my memory serves me correctly (and it occasionally fails) , we had considerably more "latitude" in char naming "back then"...

Just sayin....

Yep.. I do know it was a player's name..but now its kind of universal

And I think I will keep them since in a few years we will most likely all be on Atlantic anyhow
