What is the deal with casting WoD on Andros?

Is anyone out there going to admit what they are doing it for? If not and there is a reason perhaps somone ought to look into it?

There are a few doing it and I am sure they are not doing it for no reason?

Usually if I'm casting WoD it ain't on Andros..... it's directed at the wisps.

some people have trouble realizing that just because your spells/attacks give Damage numbers, does not mean your doing any damage to andros. Some refuse to believe it and continue to try

The only things you can do to deal more damage to Andros is summon "red" or "non-controllable" pets... they deal damage, but anything over 1 follower slot gets auto-dispelled...

I've seen people use WoD, but the boss doesn't die any faster. although I would bet having a person hitting andros with a Macing weapon would lower his stamina, regardless of the weapon doing damage to his hp... =D

Are they leaching back mana? Could they be training spellweaving?

I also wouldn't put it past the loot algorithm to count that as damage even though it doesn't reduce the hps.

how do ya know? itll show the red damage numbers but thats not really hitting. did you have a red/noncontrollable summoned and hitting andros with nothing else hitting him and it moved his hp bar?

if the boss is full hp, and you spawn an Energy vortex near him, his bar will go down. plus you could speed the whole fight up by having someone spam summoning spells (BS,EV or the one thats obviously the best as it doesn't get auto-dispelled, and saying this will more likely nerf it.. but, Natures Fury) do between 4-12 damage Per hit each to Andros. (After Discord)

When you sommon an EV or BS they have about a second or so to hit the target before they get dispelled, the message that pops up states - any tamed/summoned pet that requires more than 1 control slot is auto-dispelled or removed from the encounter (natures fury takes 1 slot per summon, thus you're able to use them in the fight.) they speed up the fight quite noticably as opposed to Not using them.

you could theoretically kill the boss solo if you're able to keep your possessed pet alive for the whole fight... (vet-pet / mana for nature's fury spam) ?

One thing that makes Andros a bit easier, is hitting him with a HLA/HLD weapon. Even though you won't be doing any damage, the HLA/HLD still applies to him, making it easier for the controlled pets to hit him, and making it harder for him to hit the controlled pets.
