(Question) Siege Player run Vendors. (brain storm session)
besides what people want to see on vendors i think we should come together and re-write the price guide for those who want to farm and sell and need a quick reference. When I first came to siege the first thing i looked at was the price guide, to get an idea of what to farm while i trained. Of course i chose leather to farm but when it came time to sell the prices were way off not sure by how much anymore but i do remember having to price check stuff every time i wanted to sell something. Just an idea....
Heheh, me and a friend just started on this shard and made a house not too far from your shop. We bought out most of the furniture a few weeks ago and a surge shield.
So lets take a look at the current price list... I will highlight those that need changing. Sprago's Vendors are a good guideline these days.

It hard to set prices, it depent of supply and demand. Here is what I believe is correct:
•Magic Residue: - I would say 50 gp
•Enchanted Essence: I believe 200 GP Per
Boura Pelts (resists): 1 - 3K Per, depending of demand. Even if I only pay 500gp, I do get enough.
•Changa Mushroom (luck): 500gp - 1k, so easy to pick up, so still good money for a young guy
•Delicate Scales (use best weapon skill): I doubt anyone will pay 15k-20k, more likely 5k
•Luminescent Fungi: Currently 6k Per - I don't believe any will pay that other than Sprago. They are easier to get from lumbering, so I think crafters max will pay 500gp - 1k or grap an axe
•Parasitic Plant: Currently 6k Per - I don't believe any will pay that other than Sprago. They are easier to get from lumbering, so I think crafters max will pay 500gp - 1k or grap an axe

Freja, parasitic plant is considerably harder to get from lumberjacking than luminescent fungi is. Should that be taken into consideration?

I think it should, also, the facts, that we don't have alot lumberjacks as there is low demand for wood, so maybe it should be more.

They are easy to farm - However - People don't like to farm. Sprago's vendor is always out of Boura Pelts and he buys for 5k - Sells for 6k. I know our guild buys them up alot.
I personally farm mine as well. Some just don't.hmmm must be just me then.

Most important thing that makes me buy from someone is clearly labeled vendors.
-Names (show all names, not titles under the names) should be what the vendor's selling
-Everything should be organized and labeled in the vendor, it's not necessary to have it organized by property but at least by type (mage suits/Dex suits/1-hand sword/Fencing etc.)
Most recently I've been looking for vendors that sell major magic armor and greater weapons.
Splintering and other properties like it are some of the best in the game and can only be found on the new magic items from shame/wrong/cove (abyss artis are for the most part useless).
Oh and 100% poison weapons are hard to find, great for new players to train with and they'll go for an easy 100k

Not sure if you know this but 100% Poison doesn't work on siege if your thinking about slapping Golems around.
The Golems still take damage. and need to be repaired...

well actually a golem does in fact take damage on prodo and still needs repair on prodo, also as easy as boura pelts are to farm they are inn an even easier area to get killed and looted at, ive personally sold boura pelts a 10k per which maybe the person was doin me a favor but still 1k per is low i think especially if a younger player here wants to farm that would be a bit harder for them id say, as for everything else rumpy's prices seem to be pretty fair and due to lack of lumberjacks i can agree with the prices of the materials that come from that. even though there is a low need for wood doesnt mean there is for the other stuff....
