Anyone know what the patch was today? It was the first time for me that I had an auto restart after the patch.

I assume you mean the EC patch? It looked like a patch to the patcher itself rather than the client files - probably to fix this issue:

it updated mft.myp This is the manifest file that keeps track of the versioning of each file that the patcher updates.

Maybe its me but my EC client button is no longer silver colored but gold/brown colored.

Maybe its me but my EC client button is no longer silver colored but gold/brown colored.

My button changes from gold to silver whenever I start UO with the second monitor on.. it also seems to be hard to click on the button, takes several tries before the button "clicks".
If I close the client, unplug the second monitor and restart it's gold again.
Always just assumed it was another coding bug.

I'm going to agree with the guess that it's to solve the issue with EC patches causing oddly large file sizes.
