back to uo... whats up?

Hi there,

after years without uo I felt some strange "coming back" thoughts bouncing around, and since they had the returning players programm open, I am now the proud owner of a freshly placed 8x9 lot since I activated my account again. I noticed some decent changes in uo, I am reading a lot (thanks to all people keeping up stratics!!), but asking active players is sometimes the easiest thing: What are u doing in uo actually? What is "hot" atm, not in terms of making gold or so, but in terms of meeting people? I'm on Atlantic, btw...

Best thing for meeting people is to find an active guild and go on some hunts. I am on Atlantic as well and a member of LoV, check us out at New Haven Bank sometime.

I would say in general doing champs, peerless, abyss mini's, crafting. All good things.

Welcome to the returning! Yes we have evolved, On Atlantic are many guilds, most are doing everything under the sun you can in uo. The new hot toyland is the revamped dungeons. As many here can tell you the changes will amaze you.

Thanks all for the friendly welcome! It is absolutely amazing how much content this game has added since my last stay. To be honest, I am stumbeling around just to catch on. Maybe I will check out the guilds, however, I am German and my main playtime will not be the American playtime. Does anyone know any European guild on Atlantik btw?

You don't necessarily need a European guild. My guild has many people playing at all hours and they run Fel spawns, Mel, Abyss, and others in the very early morning and late evenings. I'm sure most of the larger guilds are like this. Guilds may be a little cautious these days, but you can get to know some of the people and run a few spawns or hang out and they'll admit you.
