Most people can't understand how hurt I was by that incident. I had a reputation as an honest and trustworthy player which meant a lot to me, I was seeing it be destroyed, and there was no moderator around to stop the attack. I did, eventually, find out who made that scripter char. He thought it was a tremendous joke.
I'm sure you remember, too, incidents at Brit Forge where scammers made duplicates of trusted smiths to steal weapons and armour, leading to the real smiths being called out on boards as scammers.
I'm sure if the exploits of said 'nameless' gentleman become sufficiently widely known that the results of his labours are either stolen by thieves or looted from his dead body he will eventually come to realise that scripting on Siege is a bad idea.
On a lighter note, I'll tell you how I came to die in there.
I had promised, on these boards, to attempt to obtain a certain smith recipe for a regular poster. I therefore set out with loaded beetle to keep that promise. Shortly afterward a stealthing character with homicidal intentions appeared at my side and I made my way in greyscale to the healer. Once rezed I stopped to check the boards before returning for my beetle. I found I had a private message from the poster I was helping. It said 'Can you tell me your character name so that I don't kill you'. I sent back the reply 'You just did

'.
He was kind enough to return my kit and apologise, and yes, I did get him the recipe that I'd promised.
