Just tried an Advanced Character code on Siege, says can't be used there.

My b.s. tolerance with EA isn't doing well after the last year playing UO. What the <very vividly colorful commentary> has to be done to make it work on Siege?

The UOstore info still says it's good for Siege. Time for my first credit card chargeback due to untrue product info?

uh i always though advanced chars were NEVER allowed on Siege / Mugen. I think that is a Typo on the store and you have been around a while so you should know better. Why else would they separate them out?

It's been said in these forums that these new tokens have worked on Siege.

I have been around for a long while. I have learned over the years to not believe anything announced will actually happen until it has happened. This had happened. Guess I've just learned not to rely on that either.

Removed the restriction for the Advanced Character Token and the Mythic Token on Siege.

I bought a Mythic (the new one) and used it on siege. It did not work until they made the last publish active.

Refers to a patch 78.0.0 during the beginning of the client startup.

Yes, I deleted the prior character and made a new one with 50 Smithing, 50 Arms Lore, and 20 Music. 120 total skill.

FYI TO CLARIFY:

If you purchase a mythic token, THE CODE WORKS ON SIEGE
If you purchase an ADVANCED CHARACTER TOKEN, IT DOES NOT WORK

IF you have an old advanced character token from the promo years ago THEY DO WORK

We had this issue with a guildmate as well. The Advanced Character Token Code is BROKEN for Siege.

Not sure what time it was, some of us were busy trying to fight for our lives. Hehe. Sometimes Gen Chat gets overlooked when people are busy.

They are $10 from Origin or 3.5-5 Mil Gold. You can x-fer gold for a 5:1 Ratio (5 Prodo : 1 Siege).

I have several heritage tokens on GL, going to try and see if I can do a trade for legacy tokens first (not real hopeful, but you never know), before I purchase them from EA. I think I have 3 million total on Siege, and only 10-12 million on GL. I haven't played in years, looks like the economies on regular shards are ridiculous now.

I have at least 4 skills I want to save, only because working those back up to GM would suck. Stealing, Stealthing, Hiding and Snooping.

use to have 2 side by side keeps as well.
i just dont get impressed with people bragging about skill working on a shard that spoon feeds you your points at a guaranteed 15 minute interval. PLAYING on siege i can respect the people, but skill working on siege is handicap parking at the mall as far as im concerned.

You forgot to add that you can't get a handicap parking sticker until your 70, no one will insure your car, gas costs $15 a gallon, your tires wear out every 100 miles, and mall security only patrols the food court.

I can 120 any skill on a prodo shard within 1-2 days (Say 5-6 for taming at the most)

I use to play Siege back when you could only gain 3.6 Points TOTAL per day 70-80 and 2.1 TOTAL PER DAY 90-120

Even now, you have to play CONSTANT to get your gains.

I am not calling Poo out. I like his message if I am understanding it right. RoC is the best skill training system there is. Many pople are uninformed as to the effiency of Rate over Time since the RoT has been redone and reworked.

The Mythic Advanced Character Token is even faster. I wound up with five 90 skills, two 50 skills and a 20 skill on both characters in a few minutes. Aside from a severe lack of gold and resources, I was ready to rock.

Being able to get around the couple decades of training resource gathering enforced by the shard's ruleset may just bring more players to Siege.

YEP YEP YEP Just went into Professions Forums and for the life of me I just can't find all these post you refer to. Oh I can find tips and such but please show us links to all these Taming 120 in 6 days, Mage/Myst/Weaver 120 in 2 days or less, Sword/Archery/Fence/Mace/Healing/Tact/Anat 120 in 2 days or less. I could go on but you get the idea. Or maybe UOStratics should have you write all thier Training Guids for them.
