I dont seem to be getting any gifts on my RTB accounts
where are the characters? The only problem I had with my regular accounts was one char that had been logged off at Serps stable. I walked it around to the inn, logged out an back in and the gifts appeared.
3 accounts so far - all chars were logged out in inns
Pre maint - I got gifts
After Maint - No gifts

For anyone who doesnt get it, Europa had maint, Siege hasnt.
My characters aren't getting gifts either 
I just don't understand why they did it. We have always got the gifts before when they did the RTB
I know my opinion won't be popular with many, but if they really made it so RTB accounts don't get gifts... I'm glad. I feel those gifts should thank those who have been actually paying and playing. Someone coming back to RTB isn't going to start paying for their account because of a gift, they'll be coming back because of the game as a whole.
An' yes, I have at least a dozen accounts full of characters from my years of playing that I could use to get gifts. My stance isn't about lack of possible monetary gain, it is about principle.
If this is true Devs... you have this subscriber's support on this. Well done.

RTB is to get players back to play the game and test if they like it now and STAY, not to get old accounts back to collect items...
If you wanted that 15th gifts, well you shoulda have reactivate all accounts at least with a one month payment before September 1st to be valid to receive a gift!

At the moment, out of 8 inactives, i can only get into two =( another fail...

Yeah, just checked one of my accounts that had been inactive within the last 90 days. It is active with the Return to Britannia promotion. Are they applying these promotion codes in reverse order if account inactivity?

If they are I'm gonna be waiting for a LONG time...all of my accounts have been inactive since 2006
lol Well except for the one I'm using now...BUT last RTB I had logged into the second account that I used ALL the time and it was completely empty..no chars or anything on it and I had a full roster because I used that account to hold my auctions so it SHOULD have been FULL of chars and goodies...so I really wanted to log that account on to see if anything had changed since last time.I think Devils is right...MORE COFFEE STAT! lol
I'm thinking their scriptor who applies the RTB codes got PKed.

I just tested this all with an old account
1) it had RTB listed and i could log in without any problems
2) i didnt receive any gifts
3) i thought "hey why not" and subscribed for a month
4) the payment will start AFTER the RTB is over so i got 2 months free now
5) i relogged and got my 15th anniversary gifts
So if you subscribe for one month, you can claim your 15th gifts AND you will be able to play 2 months not only one

why would you think the billing wouldn't start immediately?
why woulnnt you just wait till oct 5 THEN re-up and then for sure get 2 months for the price of 1?
They brought RTB back this month to celebrate a milestone in MMO history so sharing those gifts with everyone makes the celebration all the more awesome! And just think, when RTB is over, they are able to place a house and add a new item with music, hunt for more rolls, and look at the 15yr anniversary as a restarting point. Now it will be "I was there for the 15th Anniverary and have been playing x amount of years since!" Right?

Yes, i reactivated with a 1 month code and because of RTB i can now play 2 months with this old account...i like that
I discovered alot of old stuff on that account...and alot of old memories....thats worth the few bucks for me...besides the fact i got a golden harp on Atlantic with one char lol

Glad all your stuff was all there. I tried to log in an account from 2004 and it said I had to LINK it first. Did all that and logged into a wiped account. Guess RTB was for people that linked there accounts then stopped paying. This will piss a lot of old timers off.
Most of my inactive accounts are not linked, I could lock them in without any trouble, had 12 off them, only a few is linked, all could be logged in, just sad I did not get gift for the 10 with chars on Siege but it's really ok

Did you have to link them befor you could log in? How old were they.
I had not to link the accounts (and is not intended to do so, since not all of them belong to me, but I have been granted usage rights by the owners - which does not mean, that I could bind them to my EA ID).
Cannot tell any account details (I dont think they are available without linking), but most of them are Pre AoS accounts.
With one account I cannot log in - either I really forgot the password, or it missed the reactivation.

I'm REALLY quite ok with RTB players getting no gifts. I mean really? I've been paying/playing for the last year, and you can roll in and grab the same stuff I'm getting without paying a dime. You should get NOTHING. The promotion is to attract older players to the game, not the gifts.

I'm okay with players getting the gifts and I'm saying this as somebody who claimed the gifts on a lot of chars before server maintenance.
Heritage token, harpsichord, pull those if you want to take something away from RTB accounts.
But at least give them the cake, muffins, and hourglasses. While RTB is there to get former players to start subscribing again, it's also there to invite them back to UO's 15th birthday, so let them participate with some cake, muffins, and an hourglass that celebrates UO history, a history that they were a part of.
I know the attitude for some is that only the current subscribers should get anything, but this game wouldn't be here if it weren't for all of the hundreds of thousands of former players who participated and paid along the way. At least give them the cake and hourglass.
