Beware trading w/GL

Don't want to cast the entire trading community of Great Lakes in a bad light.. but there's a bad seed there..taking your bags.. never showing back up on your shard to give theirs. At least one other person on GL also looking to complete their trades with this person.

I know it happens.. but I'll be passing the word to the rest of Baja not to trade with Great Lakes peeps.. no other way to avoid getting scammed. Sorry GL for painting everyone there with the same broad strokes.

Sorry you got burnt, sucks when that happens. I just traded with karma, gave them all of my GL bags, then we went to Chesapeake and they gave me theirs. It went very smoothly. There are still a lot of good folks over there.

I have traded with Electra (ICQ 10 823 931) on Great Lakes many times and always have great trades, including today. She even had a gold harpsichord for me on Oceania which was fantastic. Rather than tell people on your shard to avoid Great Lakes, perhaps they need to look at this thread or the Stickied thread for reliable traders.

As a GL's Player this is what I recommend. I would watch out because yes there are Many BAD apples on GL's however I also know that for every bad one..... there are at least 5 very awesome folk. We have some super wonderful people on GL's... Just be very careful who you are dealing with. I myself have always traded fairly... sometimes giving way more than I get .... so just be careful. And as I said to you I'd be more than happy to give you a bag on Baja to anyone that got burned by this person and I'm very sorry you had a bad experience. Please don't judge the entire shard by one scumbag.
