Does anybody know how Return to Brit interacts with an unpayed account with a house currently within the 90 day cycle? If I log in will it reset the 90 day timer on the house? or will my house fall when return to brit is over?

In the past, they did not reset the 90 day timer. You still had to reactivate within that 90 day timer, even if it fell during the midst of Return to Brit so keep an eye on your houses if you mean to refresh them.

Ok before everyone wants to loggin with their Old Accounts, make first sure, you all have used the Account Managment and linked all your Accounts to your Main Account. After that you can wait ... till the free Month starts

Yeah, this could lead to a completely wrong first impression for a lot of people, who try to take a look at the game again. Usually that won't earn them a good reputation...

Mine are linked. I'm 100% sure, since I already paid and played with those linked accounts about 8 months ago.

Well, I noticed something odd:

If I enter a random username and password, I get a "cannot verify" error message. BUT if I enter my correct username and a random password i get the "not linked/expired/suspended" message. That is extremly strange. Shouldn't that produce the same "cannot verify" message?

So I went to the account managment and changed my password, just to be on the safe side. Still can't log in.

It's sad when this can't even be disputed...I figure, since it's not the devs, but EA's accounting that does that site, it won't be fixed till Tuesday =(

All my accounts are linked, some of them having been activated since the new billing system went into effect, but I still can't login on the inactive accounts. Like I usually do when Return to Britannia rolls around, I emailed all the old UO players I know. I always forget EA is slow in implementing things, however, so please please please next year remind me to include that in the email I send out.

Mesanna doesn't tweet, but I have emailed. The link Nails Warstein has posted doesn't tie up with Mesanna's producer's letter either.

As everyone is aware we are quickly come up on our 15th year Anniversary. To start celebrating this we are bringing back Return to Britannia for the whole month of September. I hope to see old friends and new ones! Let me go ahead and assure everyone that they cannot place houses (see we have learned from past mistakes =P).

If you read the link that Nails Warstein linked, you will also notice it tells you to get the Kingdom Reborn client. A clear indication that page is a remnant from many years ago. Just figured I'd add that tidbit if anyone doubted Petra's point about that link not being related to Mesanna's recent letter or the current Return to Brit promotion.

Do I recall it right that, when linking an account one has to also provide the credit card informations ?

So, if the linking is required in order to re-activate a closed account for the free limited time returning players offer, and one has to enter the credit card info for that account when linking it, how can one be sure that the credit card won't be charged for the offer period ? Does it say anywhere on the Account Management Page that for that re-opened account for the offer time it is free and the credit card will come in play only after september ?

Also, what if a player that tried out the limited time returning players' offer decides not to continue it past the offer time window, how can they make sure that their credit card won't be billed ?

Just watned to correct a previous post. We have not turned on RTB due to Monday being a holiday and wanted to be in the office when it was turned on. We will turn it on Wednesday, September 5th.
