Well, I tried the new Dungeon Despise content today. And I wanted so much to love it, I really did. I managed to get a pet up to Level 10, and get into the Final Battle... only for my pet to get stuck at it's spawn point and be unable to leave, so I couldn't do anything but heal everyone else's pets. But only a few made it through, and it took 30 minutes just to get the boss down to 75% health. I've not seen the Call To Arms since, so I've a horrible suspicion that you can only have 1 boss fight up at once... now the people fighting were doing so honestly, but if this is the case, they've held up the entire shard since.
That's only the start of the problem though.
IT'S POSSIBLE TO KILL THE OTHER SIDES PETS WITHOUT RISK
I discovered this with a certain idiot on Europa who was throwing poison fields everywhere, and then aggressively insulting people for being unable to control their own pets because he either didn't know or didn't care to understand what was happening. You see, even on defensive, if a pet crosses a poison field they'll flag against a players pet of a different karma, and cannot be called off because each damage tick seems to reset the aggression flag. Perhaps he was trying to force people into levelling up his pet for him?
Worse still, this then opens up the ability for the player themselves to attack the opposing pet and kill it, and even a tier 10 pet can't take more than a few e-bolts, and they can't defend themselves from the player. Thus a single person can run around the entire dungeon, dropping fields, and wipe out everyone's efforts there.
It was small consolation to prove this, after staring in disbelief at the sheer selfish idiocy of dropping a second wave of fields to try and hog a good spawn point to himself, Mr Idiot started insulting me again and warning he'll kill my pet if it crosses his special Idiot-Line... which I promptly did and then slaughtered his own pet.
What a simply delightful way to celebrate this 15th Anniversary, eh?
