I saw a post on the official Warhammer forums on BioWare.com that was made by one of the Mythic volunteer moderators about this. Just replace Warhammer Online with Ultima Online
The Warhammer Online community team is proud to announce the arrival of EA Answer HQ!

Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or brand new to the gaming world, everyone needs a little help sometimes. So we’ve created EA’s new Answer HQ. It’s a community initiative to have players share their gaming expertise with other players. This is the place where your ideas shape the community, where sharing knowledge is rewarded, and where you can climb the ranks to be the hero. This new community is designed to help players get support from some of the most knowledgeable people we can think of – you.

At Answer HQ, you can ask questions, help others that may be having similar issues to you, or just lend a hand to those that need it.But that’s not all. As you help others by answering questions, offering advice or just generally providing a positive experience for your fellow gamers, you will gain ‘XP’. As you gain XP, you will advance through various ranks, on your journey to becoming a real EA Hero . As you make your way through these ranks, you will unlock new features within Answer HQ, collect rewards, gain exclusive in-game items and many other great surprises along the way.

Do yourself and our community a big favor. Ask, answer, and be the hero.
Here is the main site Answer HQ - Answer HQ

And guess what they have? Ultima Online - Answer HQ

And it looks like one or two UO Stratics staff are already in there helping. This is good visibility, lets people know UO is still around, and also helps new players who accidentally find UOHerald.com and end up confused.

There is none for Ultima Forever as well. It could be that you have to ask a question for that community and when it's approved it is then created. UO's first question is from over a month ago.

Answer HQ (FAQ)? Should just redirect to Stratics forums. ;P

And highlight the fact, yet again, that BioWare Mythic is far too myopic to host official forums?

Might as well just direct people to another game...

Glad this exists but again why would they have something like this and not advertise it?

It was on the front page of EA.com, and is on the front page of Help.EA.com. Unless you're talking about the UO part of it. One of the Warhammer Online volunteer mods on BioWare.com's forums mentioned it which is how I heard about it.

The cynic in me sees it as another way EA is being cheap and using the communities for its games to help with support, but hey at least people will see UO in amongst the other games.

I was more talking about just the UO portion of it but I guess you are right.
