Guess some of you should rethink whether UO is a failure or not.
Ultima Online will get limited funding due to the fact that people are greedy. The almighty dollar spawns an emotion in people. They must have it. The more they make, the less they seem to have, in their mind.
(Note the proper indentations?) If Ultima is not generating a serious profit, then why bother investing in the game? I seriously doubt that Ultima has more than three full time devs.
In game vendors and player run shops. The greed. Come on, items costing millions in play gold???? Serious?? A perfect display of greed, and it's not even tangible capital. How messed up is that?
Online gaming is what it is, computer games, and corporations trying to make a buck. If a game flops, fails, or dies out....so be it. I have seen a game go bye bye......I lived, no big deal.
One final note?? Is it too hard to spell? Using abbreviations says a lot about a person.....and the word lazy comes to mind.

I must have missed something... are you refering to people using F2P instead of "free to play," UO instead of Ultima Online, and SW:TOR and TOR for Star Wars: The Old Republic, or did someone post something that was impossible to discern what the acronyms were for, or was there a post where there were a lot of abbreviations?
It's not a sign of laziness to use acronyms (which, by the way, are not abbreviations)... and I sort of missed any post that was heavy at all on abbreviations. Was this intended for this thread?
