Something to consider is that when something is offered as free, it might not actually be free,

If personal internet activity information is something that you do not care about, then yeah it is free, other wise the cost is that Google will know your every action on the internet and they can do whatever they want with that information?

Personally, I wouldn't care myself. They pretty much have that anyway. Just about every site has google-analytics being blocked by my browser right now...

Regardless.. $70 is only about 10 bucks more than what I pay for my crappy DSL connection.

Even their paid option is better.

Free 5mbs intenet, 120 for gigabit + tv 70 for gigabit. KC only for now, but it will spread out. Gotta get peeps behind it!

That's how the web is now. There IS a cost, but its just for installation, which is 300 bones. Installation is free with the monthly packages.
