I was wondering about these as well. I found out that even current WWs will also eat gold, though I thought that was the
sign that it was prepatched. Since that isn't the case, what does make a WW prepatched?

As far as I know, prepatch WWs make a different "roar" than newer ones - my hubby's ancient tamer has one that sounds more like a GD does.

freshly tamed white wrym eat gold im sorry im going to check the sounds now. i could not tell the difference in sounds. So with that said im closing this post and not selling due to not knowing sorry for the time waster.

I was under the impression older WW's were the only ones to eat gold as well, good to know.

My WW is about 5-6 years old and it does not eat gold. I get the "shakes it head no" text and " there " is no container". So how is it that they all eat gold?

I have a gold eating WW at least 10 yrs old & its does seem that newer ones "
shakes it head no" text and " there " is no container" & mine chomps on gold & loves it

I just went and tamed a WW and it ate gold. The first WW I ever tamed over 9 years ago I still have and it also eats gold.

So I have no clue.
