I do not believe that Mesanna said that "Everyone would have the scroll" but instead said that there would be other ways to get one in the future - I wouldn't plan on them just giving one to each character. Given that major changes to systems only happen with a publish/patch, I'd guess that we may see them pop up in one of the next few publishes.
ok, I do not quite understand what she said; but if I understand well what you guys are talking about, it will be available; In the same way as the +25 ...... by sellers or by a high price.
I saw some prices on luna (shard Europa) more than forty million.... I believe this out of the reach of most area unless by some lucky ones who has these sellers luna.

I don't quite get how they messed up..it was an awesome event with a very minor reward +5 stats what the hell is the big deal lol...I'll drop to 250 and compete just the same ...it's sad how many ppl cry about a 5 stat scroll..you're lucky this MAJOR game breaking items Is being put into as a drop lmao
..edit : the only problem I see is not somehow getting this as an automated event it was awesome sux if u missed it

The point is, your missing the point BIG time sir. Its not about game breaking, or whatever you've decided to addlib onto the issue......rather its about FAIRNESS...........the fact that we were told that we "all swing as one, we all heal as one, we all WIN as one".........insinuating we all "get rewarded as one". Some folks laid back healing and ressing, not knowing because of what was said that only the TOP damagers were gonna get rewarded.
So, jump off the high horse for a sec, and possibly recognize others opinion on the issue rather than brow beating folks cause your a tad single sighted.

Now with that being said I need to make sure you guys are aware of another issue with the scroll.
If you double click this scroll you "own" it at that point. Even if you did not use it, and wanted to sell it you still own it. So buyers beware and take notice of the text of the scroll. If it has been dbl clicked you will see something like this.... Rewarded to (name). .

So we didn't go to this laggy crashfest because some of us work for a living and now we find out +5s will not be available to the rest of us paying subscribers anytime soon? 
And you guys saying "+5 doesn't make a difference," sorry but your opinion is overruled by the simple fact that it has sold for 50-100 mil since its release.

erm, no. price has nothing to do with that, it's classed as a 'rare' because the eventual permanent drop isn't expected to be the same. Check the rares forum and see how much some people are willing to pay for what more practical, non-collectors would class as useless tat.
I've gotten EM event items before that didn't go for anywhere near 50-100m
Since it is clear that the scroll will be available ingame somehow, the prices dropped dramatically: Only insane folks pay 100 mil now. We had one on an auction that didn´t even sell for 40 mil. Fair price atm would be about 20-30 mil, which is the normal price on Drachenfels atm. I know, that Drach isn´t a "high-price"-shard, but well, it´s a bit stupid to pay 100 mil for a scroll that gives +5 stats 
For most PvM-players it´s just a completely worthless piece of deco - I can only imagine a certain value for PvP. I traded mine for some nice arties - 255 is enough. Any by the way: There has never been fairness when it comes to drops in such events: I participated in dozens of em, player-events, EM-events and such global events and got one or two drops in sum. And I ressed and healed and supported. But I won´t ever complain because it is the way life is - we aren´t living in some sort of "MMORPG-socialism"

Personally I think that it’s a monumental Screw up leaving 99% of the UO population 6 months behind those who were lucky enough to attend and get one of these scrolls.
I got 3 of the scrolls, but that’s not the point! Other people are felling disgruntled. Leaving it 6 months before you release these to the general population just leaves me thinking you don't have a clue how it was going to affect people.
Some of it just 'it exists, therefore I must have it'.

Most of my characters only have a +20 scroll anyway and need to find a +25 before I even think about this new +5. I'm not the only one who doesn't have their characters maxed out on stats.
It is not the 'gamebreaker must have' some people are making it out to be.

Thanks Petra, you hit the point. Can´t hear all the sissys complaining all the time about how unfair life is... You can go to each place in this game where certain stuff drops and you may experience MANY group-situations in which other people are luckier than you (even without doing less work)... Had to kill 300 Navs for my first tangle - another guy came there for the first time, killed her 4 times and got 2 tangles. Never got an Orny in Doom. Never got a Crimson from Meli. Never got a Slither from Medusa. Did I get a Conjurer´s garb? No. Did I get a Conjurer´s trinket? No. I don´t own a Dread Mare, I didn´t get the full Armor of Lord Blackthorn (which was part of a 2011-event)... and so on... and so on...
And I still love this game, have some nice chars with 255-max and I am happy about the great work Mesanna and the team delivered with the Exodus-fight.
By the way: I will never be able to get these arms you can get by curing the Gargoyles (current quest). No time for doing the quest. Is it fair that only those people with tons of time will be able to win the competition? No. Did I complain? Yes... Am I contradictory? YES!
Unless they have a different point of view from you, which their entitled to have. For me as a PvPer it meant i could add an extra mod to my suit. Which i used to add an extra 15 skill points to a Skill. Now those extra 15 skill points in PvP are a massive advantage, whether you agree or not.
And, I have gotten a couple that sold for 300+. Its all quite relative.
It is a no brainer when comes to collecting. Something that will be limited as a reward should remain as an item like a throne that make sa farting noise when sat in. Items that are useful or perma altering to stats and skills should never be in limited release. The moonstone jewelry is the only drop they got right. Rare and unique that was out there for a duration to be earned but not game changing. Still could have a chance at it if they hadn't stepped on it someplace else. Along those lines they need to keep it in the art range. Have an event rare drop be hot item at the time. Jackles with the mempo art OR Hunters Headdress as a tricorn hat.

So why not have 1 in 10 of Harry +5 Stat scroll drop as a +5 Cap Stat scroll. Give the PVP world a new bone to chew on for a few months. As a trammy I think there needs to be a gold flow balance back to fel side. Need to spend some gold that goes into the pockets of thos that buy from me.

Of course if they had a clue on PVP and it's importance in the game they would of done something about the cheeting long ago. Not everyone PVPs as their cup of tea if at all. warpigs spot on. it should be a fel based item. some have quoted on this board that its not a vital item to them. this is purely from the trammel side sense. it is a vital item in the pvp community, therefore it should be fought over with other players to earn it.

And Petra I play one character at a time and don't bother to max out the stats. That isn't the point. Just an opportunity to Dev bash? You know, I would love to congratulate and thank the Devs for quality work. I just haven't seen it. But granted, who know's what kind of office conditions or cut budget they are trying to operate under over at UO HQ. Meanwhile if we don't pay the same $12 per month per account, we will assuredly be denied access to the game. So you can add another category to your list. Some of it is just "Oh yay, another excuse to defend mediocre-at-best work."
