Looking for guild

Sadly, Saor is not as active as it once used to be, and it`s time for me to move on. Looking for a mature and active pvm-guild, with tolerance for casual players like me. The amount of time I have for UO varies a lot. I am sometimes a powergamer, and other times I log on once a week just to stock up vendors.

I am usually deep in bags and excel sheets while imbuing or crafting something, or out fishing or t-hunting, but I do love to hunt in groups as well.

Summer might not be the best time to post this, but I figured that if a guild is active during summer - chances are there might be some activity there during winter as well.

CD Reigns is always willing to consider new candidates for membership, new or experienced/returning. We are pretty casual as a guild, most hunting is arranged informally over guild chat, there's normally something going on of an evening and at weekends. There are plenty of crafters and similar in the guild as well, all happy to share tips. I can put you in touch with Aragorn the GM if you don't already know him?

Hi sorry to jack the thread a bit but I've been thinking of moving one of my chars into an active guild for a little while, I have my own guild but really it's only for ease of talking to my brother who also plays. I have many diffeent characters, covering most templates in one form or another so I'm pretty much self sufficient - I just would like to get involved with more stuff, and I see the CD guys around a lot - if you'd be open to another member I'd be happy to discuss joining

Thanks Jack, and Jonathen of CD, much appreciated. I don`t know any in either WoY or CD though. Except for Jack but that doesn`t really count, as he do not play. Or so he says ....Not that it matters, one get to meet new people which is always nice. I have been in contact with RAAM as well who might be open for new members after a hiatus on that front. Those I do know of as I have been on some of their open hunts previously. I had a vendor or two or three in the shop near Skara awhile as well. And of course, always chatting with Mim

I am so thankful for the time in Saor, its with great sadness I am removing the guild tag. Around the time when SA came out and a year after the guild had such activity it was amazing. I logged on during weird hours, and there were always someone doing something. Or a long discussion going on in guild chat. When imbuing came out I had over 100 (!) imbuing jobs within the guild, counting from small stuff to full pvp suits where every point mattered. Some of those latter ones I spent hours and hours crafting. Tweaking so that every resistpoint was fully utilized and every point was spent.Some of those are still in use. I had great times hunting as well, and even ventured into fel during some idocs, dying horribly but had great fun.

I will always cherish that time, it was something special for sure. Sorry, just an old lady trailing off I guess....

I have talked to REAP as well, who are in the same alliance as Saor. Which means I can talk to those I know in my old guild when they log on. An added benefit.

This proved to be more difficult than I imagined at first. The reason I spend some time on it is that I don`t want to join all my characters, just to realize the guild was not what I was looking for. I like adding all my characters, since I go through many of them when I have an evening to play. Think I need to decide what in a guild is important to me. Thought I had!

I completely understand your position nothing worse than joining a guild you think you like only to find out u made the biggest mistake of your life
CD family is much the same way....Before guilding people we usually like to, well we call it an interview but really its a getting to know you chat.
It's really about what you want to do and you're more than welcome to come talk to any of us we're pretty open to chatting and helping where we can.
We usually have a 2 week "probationary" period (ronin) for new guildies gives them time to get to know us and likewise us them.

After a great deal of contemplation I went for the playstyle combo of the RAAM alliance. They added my characters yesterday. Yay! Thanks to all who was willing to open up their guild to a whimsical casual.

I`ll see you ingame now with a new and shiny guild tag.
