Everyone knew they would add a new way in to get these. The only people who ate these scrolls are missing half a brain. Anyone with any foresight sold them for super inflated prices.

Much to my surprise I did get a scroll myself at the Europa event. It's sitting in a chest till I decide which character will eat it.

I'll keep my opinion of those who sold them for inflated prices to myself.

I sold the 2 scrolls I got on ATL for 95m each after I read many petra's posts. My understanding on her posts were that she knew something more about the scrolls than most people and she was strongly defending the idea that the scrolls will be available later.

Some folk did gamble one way or the other. Some folks won, some lost.

Except!!!!!!!!!! Stat scrolls aside, the change to the way the item dropped meant a loss of a cool momento for a lot of players. Unless Exodus isn't dead and will become an open peerless. Meh.

My suspicion - and here again I'm only basing this on logic rather than actual knowledge, is though the +5 bonus will be available as a permanant drop, it will be in a different way, maybe even several different ways, it won't be the same method of delivery - ie the scrolls with the special text about defeating Exodus will remain, in the form they take after they're used, a unique momento of the occasion.

No, I didn't have any special knowledge. I just used my brain to think logically, unclouded by any bias against the developers or avarice.
It never made sense that these would be available only to 20 or 30 characters per shard.

I ate my scroll because the inscription with my character's name has much more value to me than 95M.

In the meantime I enjoy the new addition to my collection of items collected personally at events, and my +5 stats.

I'll keep my opinion of those who sold them for inflated prices to myself.

I sold one of mine for 90 mill and the other for 40 mill. Do i feel like cheeted anyone? Nope! Those people now have an advantage in PvP for the mean time and who knows how long they may have that adantage. It may take a good while to get this upgrade of the stats to everyone.

PvPers will pay top end to get an advantage over their enemy, even if it is just for a short while. So while i never got a good night sleep last night, it wasnt over the fact that some people wanted to pay me "inflated prices" for an item i had and they didnt.

I haven't eaten my scroll yet, but I've no intention of selling it. I guess that makes me stupid too. I reckon I'm in good company.
