Event Drop System Failure OR???

Hi everybody!
Attended the Event on Drach last night with my wife - both had Mage/Mystic/Weaving or Necro-Templates. Both did damage with Colossus, Flamestrikes and Bombard, both got these scrolls.
The event was much fun, thank you - we expected nothing and got nice rewards. The reward itself is much better than other stuff you can get on those events (e.g. "named" armor pieces with no mods). So, we had fun and were happy about our drops.
Unfortunately, we lost connection about 6-8 times. It was very annoying. Nevertheless we got a drop - so, everything was okay.
Shortly after the event was over, the first offers came in: we have been offered between 20 and 40 millions for each scroll. Most of the shard traders seemed to be interested in buying on Drach and selling on Atlantic for more. We decided to keep our scrolls and to trade them with friends for good and rare equipment.
We are now looking forward to the next chapter of "The Awakening". It was great so far!

Then, of course, there's the whole class of players like myself that see no need to get into the PvP "we must have the most leet gear possible" ratrace. I used my scroll on my Melee T-hunter, to give his extremely cramped template an extra 5 mana.
You CAN'T win a game that has no victory conditions. You can, however, LOSE it by becoming obsessed with having only the most uber-toys, to where you're not even playing the game anymore. That's when you end up like this pathetic guy...

I noticed an improvement on Sunday and Monday, did they change it back to what they were doing on Friday?? or was there a real issue with the event drop system on Saturday with certain shards? Its a fair honest question I'd like some insight one. Thank you!

Ok summery.... event sucked few got the drop and the monster was incredible in more ways than one many of which were annoying.
After I found I was using WAY too many precious arrows breaking walls I quit doing that and left it to those who had unlimited resources. Secondly as for pulling his bar.... using pincos UI I went in and turned OFF the "Attackables" gray bars and only saw the RED which thankfully Exodus was RED. Thereby perhaps giving me an advantage in that I had his bar all the time no trying to "grab" it.
I had been doing ok damage and yes many did not get the scroll.... I did but I have yet to use it. Not sure what I'm going to do with it right now.
And for the record I never crashed... I wasn't really lagged and I was running more than one client... I was however unable to really "see" anything going on because there was sooo much there with the swirly things Exodus was doing the dozens of dragons and the dozens of people and all the EV's. I was also spending too much time running away getting a heal.
Interesting event.... sweet looking boss..... but total cluster and not happy with the drop rate and I agree it seriously should have been a clicky. But that's my opinion and not official....
Also I hope that they are going to give some sort of way in future for everyone to get to 260 otherwise this is BS and I am going to cry foul as it's an advantage that in PvP could make a huge difference.

this thing is 3hrs long? when do you get the scroll?
what's the steps: gate to outside Trinny from various banks, Honor gate to garg city. fight walls? no other mobs? prize drops in pack?

Go north of Trinsic and you'll find a camp. Gate pops up from there to the place you need to go. Baja's run lasted 90 mins from when it started (exactly on time in our case).
Many walls are attackable and have hp. I believe +5 pops in your pack.
lol yeah I've never seen RaDian troll so hard.
