Cap is 225 base plus 25 for the stat scrolls plus 5 for the AOS/6mo Bonus for a total of 255. I believe these will now increase the cap to 260.

Hmmm. Too late to post in other thread on this issue. My question is, if I have not yet obtained and eaten a +25 stat scroll and am presently at 250 stat level and I use one of the +5 scroll drops, I assume my new stat max is 255. Now if I later obtain a +25 stat scroll and use it will my stats go to 260 or be limited to 255?
LOL.. yeah until you go level up int/dex/str it will stay at 255..

I used one and it did increase the stat cap to 260. I use Pinco's with the cap displayed and it looks like the cap is hard coded as it did not change. So after a bit of stat training, I am now at 260/255.

as mentioned by another OP, looking at your full stat bar (CC-'status'), it shows the current cap.
what #'s are you looking at, the stat ones you probably have locked?
I'm wondering if Exodus is going to become a new champ-spawn-like encounter in Ilshenar, thus dropping the scroll fairly regularly. This could be reasonably fictionally explained by saying that his minions keep rebuilding him.

They did it with the crimson dragon (ok - more than one use - but still), platinum dragon, etc so I am not so sure... but I do like the idea of a new champ.

Aye me too, but NOT Exodus rofl was one hard fight with a hundred in attendence, be kinda hard to get all the reds to play nice to down him

Exodus will place a trap to lure Dupre to Fel...he will than call all his reds for help to kill Dupre..if you happen to be a red you just need to do some damage to Dupre and he wil escape with 1 HP to Tram...than all reds will get a Stat scroll too....if you try to participate as a BLUE, you will turn to a sheep for one week...
After this week you will have to melee Exodus as a sheep for your 3rd and last chance to receive a scroll...
If you lucky enough to land ONE hit in sheep form, you get not only a scroll, you also get "a scroll of invulv..." - if you use it you will be unbeatable for 10 Minutes and can 2 hit kill Medusa, Cora, etc and get a 100% chance for all possible Artifacts drop at once into your bank box...
I am pretty sure it will be like that...

The EMs on GL have used the platinums/crimsons many times since the end of the Warriors of Destiny arc, so the Exodus graphic might see some use by them.
Stat scrolls are not cumulative and so you cannot eat five +5 scrolls to get +25 for instance. If you are 250 you can only eat the +25 to get to 255.

That is the question many people are wondering and i think someone found out the hard way. Even though this item is unique in the sense that it can raise your maximum stats to 260, i do not believe that it will do so unless you are already at 255. I suggest you (and anyone else) check your stat cap to ensure that you are at that 255 cap before using it or it will be as useful as a wondrous scroll (+5 putting you at 255).

We don't know yet how these things work, and I'd advise anyone who is currently below the 255 cap to hold off on using one until we have more information.
This particular item is special and one of a kind....
As Petra said, if you don't already have 255 max stats, put it in your chest and wait until we have further information about it. If you are already at max stats (255), this scroll has been reported to raise your maximum stats to 260 by many sources. However, there has been some debate about the effectiveness of said scroll so do so at your own risk and please share your results with the rest of us.
It's ok Lorax, many of us did. Personally, i am ok with not having this scroll but there has been much rabble so its looking like this story continues.....

Let me see if I can clear up some confusion. If you have not eaten a +25, you can still use the +5 scroll then eat a +25 scroll later. The +5 Scroll of Valiant Commendation can be eaten in any order you want. Just remember to go from 255 to 260 you have to have eaten the special +5 scroll.

You know nothing more than the rest of us, Petra Fyde. And considering EA's track record, it seems much more likely that there isn't a way. I think most of us are distrustful of EA after the AoS debacle over the very same issue--and the three years it took to finally rectify it.

Can you clarify if the name on the scroll is of the person who first eats it... or the person it was awarded too? The character off to fight Exodus tonight would like to be remembered for roleplay reasons, but isn't the person who most likely needs it!
As for you Ludes... good grief, you really do play hardcore don't you?! Stat scrolls are over 10 years old, drop at champion spawns/Harrower spawns in Felucca, and can usually be purchased in Luna for a good few million...

Well none of us knows except the devs. If the devs didn't realize how much fallout there would be, then I would like them to see the fallout. Most of the posts from concerned players have been locked or moved to spiels and rants, so the devs might not even know players are upset. No offense intended to anyone, I'm just concerned. Thanks.
Totally giving up on this.. found a Power scroll on a vendor, blew some of my few millions on it... ate it..
and still stuck at 255.

If you've eaten the two scrolls, I saw there was a bug with the display in some clients so it showed 260/255 when the skills were gained; go and do a bit of mining or something which raises one stat and see if you can push to 260 now, and check you've not locked the stats from raising too....
have you actually reached the cap yet? are you max stats? try getting to 125 str, 125 dex and 10 int without any stat altering effects through items or casting effects.

I garden in this game quite extensively and I find it seriously unbalancing that I can't use the garden seed box for another 2.5 years. There is a woman in my guild who has a significant advantage over me because she can use a seed box and I cannot!
p.s.
I also can't use the white leather dye tub for another 6 mos., but I don't find that imbalancing because I don't do so much tailoring.

lol...if you look there is a thread somewhere of a guy saying its unfair he has to wait to 3 years to ride an ethereal and the charger it too expensive and they should make something for noobs..lol wth the charger itself is dumb why did I have to wait to my 3rd year to ride an ethy but these guys can ride as 1st day chars...point being everybody has complaints whether valid or not they do..I just wish people would stop crying about this stat scroll..who cares if you need 260 stat to compete you already suck!!
5 stats isn't going to make or break me, but it's more about how all these years they have pushed back on increasing the stat or skill cap for vets that have sat at 255/720 for years because it's unbalancing, and here they are doing the very thing they were against.
Well, now there's some awesome news! New stat cap for anyone lucky enough to have been able to participate in destroying Exodus AND do sufficient damage to earn one!! Grats to those who didn't have RL things to do and who got one of these!

Just finding out about this now and I am a little sad to hear that an item like this went out. I can however balance my disappointment because this is only a game, but I fully agree with Silent and others that items like this, that can influence gameplay are unbalancing. I don't mean to jump the gun on this subject and cry foul out of the gate, but just would like to urge caution with things of this nature. As a compulsive character designer this will be like a thorn in my side... or at least like an annoying tag on a t-shirt. /sigh

If you'd taken even a cursory glance at the other threads (well, what threads that remain after being locked or removed), you'd have known that most of the people complaining had actually attended the event and still did not receive a scroll/get looting rights.
