Game crashed/Patcher wont open/ Login servers dont work
I'm just going to leave these right here until the game is back, and y'all will have to deal with it because I was camping an IDOC all night long and the servers went down an hour before it was due to fall and I've had no sleep and am hysterical and just want to watch the whole world burn

U4 was considered by many the most immersive and well written game ever. It launched a new era in gaming.
It achieved what all game makers aim for. The release of U7 pt1 was the only thing to match that type of production.

Not so much loves company... just glad to see that there wasn't something seriously wrong with my new system. UO was only pretending to launch, and after a reboot I figured I'd end up having to reinstall everything related to UO...Misery loves company
Seeing that's just the strange way the clients now behave is both comforting... and strange. If they can't find the login servers for patching, why wouldn't they pop up an error saying, "Connection not found," or something that would at least indicate UO hadn't borked itself.
I guess I'll be late for the next event least this time I have a good reason

Odd, I got physically kicked from the game before it stopped working... so that's odd people are still in!
I would have still been in, but I fell asleep at the computer and timed out.
They might have found one of these in the meantime and are still trying to tame it...(...) It's been three hours

7 was by far my most favorite game ever. I can't think of any game at the time that let me wander/sail around and do whatever the hell I wanted for no reason other than I could. I even collected stuff from around the world and decorated a house. Basically it was like single player UO for me. I had so much fun with that game.

I agree. No drop off from pt 1 to pt2 seamless. The serpent teeth were brilliant. The Chaos and Order Theory as applied to the game was fantastic.

I thought it was because I ground blacksmith all day, As soon as I hit 120, within seconds I lost connection and havent been able to get back on lol I broke it
Ah the memories that invokes! I GM'd blacksmith 3 times on the same char in the same day back in 2001. Crash/Revert/Crash/Revert.

My client just managed to make it through the patch screen. It still can't log in (problems communicating with Origin etc.), but at least things are slowly getting better.

Have restarted it a couple of times, but it keeps freezing up after the login screen.EDIT - ok, so now after entering username and p/w, I get "Couldn't connect to Ultima Online. Please try again in a few minutes."

still getting the "could not connect to ultima online, please try again in a few mins"
Such a bummer it worked for me, but obviously Atlantic was down when it finally worked. By the time ATL was supposed to be up it wasn't working anymore.
I can't connect either
remove the card, using the 'modify account' link, then put it all back in. That worked for several people.

Anyone else still locked out, or is it my end?
Would this be in the Bioware Mythic page? I'm struggling to find any "modify account" (ctrl F doesn't bring it up either); is it hidden on a subpage somewhere?

starting to remember why i left ultima 18mths or so ago, some things never change
Thank you Petra; it seems that window is ONLY available from the "Select Your Payment" page, which is a little silly if you want to just edit the card details, as you have to offer to buy a game just to get there...
Unfortunately, clearing and re-entering it didn't work, and from that window I can see records of all the "FAILED" attempts. I may have to check with my bank if there's an issue with the card, something I really don't have time for today, sigh.

well it's been 10 hours since I lost connection & still can NOT get on......... is thinking everything is gray and standing as a lost ghost..........
