Just wondering why there isn't any description for posted events. Example..tonight's event "A Paladins's Plunder" has no description other than the title. It may mean something to those "in the know" but to a recent returnee, like myself, I haven't a clue. I assume (which is never a good idea) we'll be fighting something, but what. I'm not saying every detail should be layed out but some idea would be helpful in determining which character to bring and how to equip etc. Is it just policy not to give any info or is it because most are vets and know what to expect. It's just a little frustrating for those of us that aren't and are in the dark.

The posts we put on Stratics are informational as to the date, time, and meeting location. The actual title is usually something whimsical that we come up with. For the latest information and news you can check the town criers in game, or attend an Hall of Commons meeting held every Sunday at 9pm ET at the Hall of Commons building just north of the Britain Moongate. Also, we just held an event Q&A to clear up some questions. You can also consult the Chesapeake Shard Directory to find out more information on what's transpired, as well as more information on townships, RPCs, events, and the like.

Thanks for the info Dudley. I think the "Story so Far" idea is an excellent one. It might encourage some of the new players and returnees (like myself), who want to participate but feel a little intimidated or unprepared, to give it a shot. After all, inclusion is the way to broaden and keep the player base we all want, the more one feels part of the community and has a good time to boot the more likely, and longer, they are to stick around, imo.
