Any use for loot from farming gold?

I am throwing tons of it away per day. Is there a market for selling this stuff to be used in imbueing? Is there any market for the better pieces for people to use? Any economy at all? I know its been said people on Siege don't bank sit, but I am running all over the place and never see anyone anywhere doing anything. I managed to find a good house site in Zento, will I be wasting my time putting up vendors?

What are you trying to sell exactly..
Nothing as of now. I am farming gold and getting a ton of weapons, armor and jewelry that I toss. Most of it is junk, some has decent stats. Other games you could make some spare gold selling junk magic items for disenchanting (WoW), making componants for armor (SWG) ect. Seems like such a waste throwing it all out. Is there a use for it here like in the aforementioned games?

Most people unravel their junk for imbuing gains and residue/essence/relics.

If it´s magical loot from low-level monsters then there´s no need to keep it.

Since the re-vamp on dungeon Shame, normal loot items from other areas won´t sell unless it might be "clean" items that can be used when imbuing such as a ring with only faster casting 1 and faster cast recovery 2 or a sword with 100% fire damage.

What´s your character´s name?

Oh, and as for vendors, if you go the route of a treasure hunter then you could sell the SoTs, alacrity scrolls and mana phasing orbs that you dig up. There usually always a demand for that.

Yeah most of that stuff is just junk though it might be worth it to ask in general chat if there is anyone traininig imbuing that needs stuff. As for not seeing people donlt get discouraged a LARGE portion of this shard runs around in stealth. Not to mention I think with New games coming out *namely Diablo 3* and with the weather being nice in a lot of places I think some people are taking a bit of a break so it is a bit slower then normal. But say hi in general chat there is usually a few people on :)

My characters name is Zehir. I am trying to find a niche in the economy I can work towards filling. I was going to be a crafter but there doesn't seem to be much use for one aside from imbueing. I am making alright gold farming, but its a bit slow and I will get bored of dropping EVs pretty fast. Maybe I will just bite the bullet, buy SA and try my hand at imbueing.

Thats true, I guess I did pick the slowest part of the gaming year to try my hand at Siege again. I love the ruleset here. My main shard was Atlantic, but I just can't bring myself to play on it. Mostly the insurance kills it for me there.

Hellos Appalachian,

You can always make frequent trips to a trash barrel to turn them into points for rewards. Might take a bit with the lower level magic items, but at least it is points towards some lilly pads or whatever your heart desires.

:mylittlepony:Thanks!

some of the lower level stuff is useful, still like 2/1 3/1 rings/bracers (blank or at least with some imbue slots open) are worth keeping, as are ones with high HCI or DCI, you can save a ton of "rare" imbue mats since you're farming them anyways (and especially jewlery they can have 500 intensity from monster loot)

Thinks like LMC or MR2 med armor pieces could be worth saving too to toss together inexpensive mage suits, lrc and a few resists then barbed enhance and you save a lot of seeds of renewal (though not quite as nice as a crafted piece....it's still better than what most mages on siege wear anyways)

Pieces with Night Sight and no other mods might also be nice to keep for use in low-priced imbued suits.

Since Nocturne Earrings are only 5k points, I don't think anyone keeps armor with night sight on them anymore. Waste of a property slot. I unravel all armor with night sight.

I used to make cheap imbued LRC and resist suits that had Night Sight as one of their properties because I'd use one piece of looted armor with Night Sight on it as part of the suit. That was before the cleanup stuff started though. I guess I'm behind the times and now everyone has enough gold to keep buying replacement earrings every time they lose a suit. Or they don't have anything better in their suit worth using their Siege blessing on.

I think I'm too much of a cheapskate and too dumb to play on Siege anymore.

the cleanup points build so fast for some of us 5000 points is nothing to spend, no point spending gold when there's so many items you get that are otherwise worthless but worth 1000-2000 cleanup points, especially the virtue artys worth 1500 per.....I guess if you're scrimping and saving for the high end rewards like the luck jewels or beastial suits it might be an issue but not many people use that kinda stuff.

Some good info I did not know before. Thanks for the heads up on the cleanup points. Was not aware of them. I was on the verge of picking up imbueing after reading up on it and since I am building a mage/mystic, but decided against it since I am so new. Seems like you would kind of need a crafter and a fair amount of cash on hand to support it properly. Wish I haden't claimed most of my reward soulstones on Atlantic now.
