So I pulled a vicious bloodblade of wizardry (with a 10% splintering mod) off a raider. Mods looked awesome, so I used it on the next raider. Durability went to 6 from 75 on one mob!! What's with that? Is this how splintering weaps work? Are they essentially a single use item? This is the first time I have used one, so have no experience with them.

each time splintering procs you lose 10 durability from current durability, and the splintering can proc while a splintering proc is happening (there's no delay and it's RNG, so you could land 3 procs in a row and lose 30 durability in less than five seconds). because of that, non-curse, powderable splintering weps are the only ones w/ value.
