A New Hope
It was a cold night, the winds howled outside and shook the branches of the trees as Queen Zhah paced in her study contemplating the latest news. The news were dire, Ver Lor Reg had been overrun by mechanized monsters forcing most of its gargish inhabitants to flee. In fact, a small group of them had made their way to Ter Mur seeking refuge.
Despite being fully aware that many in the city would be against taking in a mass influx of refugees, Queen Zhah found herself considering the very thought. While she grappled with the cold hard logic of logistics of supporting a large community of refugees, her heart knew that it was the right thing to do. Also, once the initial challenges were overcome, the new gargoyles would only enrich and strengthen her kingdom. After all, she reasoned, what better opportunity to unite all gargoyles under her banner. Suddenly, her face grew a serene look as her mind tuned in with her heart. She had decided!
Peeking out of her study, she looked for a guard to send summons to the one named Wis-Lem from the initial group of refugee to meet her on Sunday, 20:00 (BST) in the throne room of Ter Mur.
