Question about ALL elemental slayer weapons

Hello Warriors!

Since you guys are the ones who use weapons (as opposed to someone like me who prefers to shoot fire at creatures and summon others to do my bidding), I was wondering about slayer weapons. I fish up quite a few of them in treasure chests and I'm wondering if they ALL have value or just some of them.

Depends on the other properties, especially elemental damage. Things like HML, HLL, HSL....

Hey Rhiannon, that's a very good question. I suggest you might want to cross-post it to the Craftsman forum for more input.....

Just sayin........;)

I would say no, since they won't be exceptional (450 as opposed to 500).

But I could be wrong, as in someone else might use looted weapons, but I just prefer to craft my own.

Many monster weak elemental damage,so warrier dont want cast concelect weapon.( easy fight and bushido spell or special ability use)
Now reforging and imbuing, easy craft for slayer and elemental damage weapon.

I cannot remember the last weapon I used from monster loot. With imbuing and reforging I can build an exceptional weapon with everything optimized for my uses. So, IMO, there may be a small market for those weapons, I don't think there will be great demand.

At one time there would have been great demand, but now well not so much. They could still be used somewhat but post imbuing slayer weapons are easy to make (well except for the demon claws which take a ton of time to get at least for me). Looks like the window was missed. That being said some of them might still be useful and could claim a price if they are really mod heavy but it would be low.

I think it really depends on the person you'd be selling too.....

If they are obsessed with having the highest possible capped out thing- then you are probably out of luck.

But if they don't need DI on the weapon, or feel that 50 imbuing points isn't that big of a deal, (which really, when you get down to it, it's not)- then you should be able to sell some. If you are on Atlantic, hit me up, depending on the weapon, I'll buy some and I know others who will as well.

The responses mostly cover it, but there are three things to consider
1. What are the other mods
2. What are the weapon specials
3. Is it a normal slayer or super slayer

Imbuing the super slayer is really cheap. Imbuing the other slayers (Poison, Fire, etc.) may cost more depending on players' access to white pearls. New(ish) players will likely benefit from the weapons you fished up more than the established lot who frequent these boards. For my money the useful PVM specials are Armor Ignore, Doublestrike, Feint, and Whirlwind.
