Expanding the Felucca Ruleset

Should the Felucca Ruleset apply to more than one facet?

My purpose for the analogy was to separate easy versus challenging. I wanted to illustrate Trammel as a less cruel and a more easy world compared to Felucca, thus more like the world you know as a child rather than as an adult. I did not say Trammel players are children, you can not find that in my post, and playing in a less cruel and a more easy world should not be insulting to anyone. I don't play in Great Lakes and I think generalizing pvp guilds with event griefing is stereotypical.

You might have argued about my way of defining challenge in UO, which I'd gladly accept, but you claimed to expose "my true colors" and my "clear intention of insulting others". Your reply of my post is filled with personal attacks Galen, check my past posts and find a post that I insulted any other player. I'm very disappointed.
I reacted to the words you use, and regardless of any backtracking you do the intent was plain. It does indeed qualify as a personal attack to refer to an adult as a child or to ascribe to him or her childish characteristics.

Before Trammel, people's alternative was Everquest.
This. Felucca was always doomed to become a ghost town whether Trammel was ever created or not.

Fact of the matter is server populations (and subscriptions) were much healthier when Fel had a larger % of landmass. This is a fact. Supported by evidence, and numbers.
Between jaw-droppingly nonsensical arguments like this and idiotic poll options like "FEL IS AWESOME" versus "I HATE FEL BECAUSE I AM A DUMB BABY" I have to wonder just who you think is supposed to take you remotely seriously.

Fel is dead. Even my guild of random newbs manages to pull down champ spawns at decent hours. On Atlantic. There's nobody there, and adding more land to sit empty isn't going to accomplish anything.

I'd love to show evidence to the contrary of this but it's against the stratics ROC so alas I cannot. Honestly this thread should be locked at this point since all it's become is trammies spamming it...probably for no reason other than to troll the rest of us who live there...you know..because god forbid there be anything to do outside of THEIR facets.

I love how if there's something in fel there's an UPROAR for it to be added to tram also but if there's something in tram where it's asked for an equivilant in fel there's an uproar to keep it from happening...

Uhh, add up all the empty landmass in facets other then Fel and you will see that there isnt much disparity. Outside of the silly Luna bank there are no hugely populated areas. Lots of houses that do nothing but satisfy a need to decorate but no real clusters of people. Half the people in Tram Shame doing unbounds with my Sampy are also Fel pvpers. Lets try to be impartial here folks

And if Fel were such a totally awesome and wonderful environment why is Siege not CRAMMED with players???
Read my post again about how the Post AoS Gear carried over with the full Fel ruleset. More grinds on top of grinds., explained to you from the standpoint of a PvPer

...

Why would they expand a ruleset that isn't attracting any customers? Also wouldn't adding in any form of "toggle" used anywhere effectively be eliminating the Fel ruleset completely?
You cannot bring the argument that Fel is the thing not attracting new players. This would leave me open to say "The 5/6 Trammel Rulesets aren't attracting people" The closest evidence we have relating Fel and Populations is the population to fel/tram ratio I mentioned before. I'm pretty sure the exploits/acceptance of them is more of a deterrent that Fel itself.

There is a NEW PLAYER that has found this way into this very thread (A RARITY WE SHOULD CHERISH) that has voiced the appeal of Fel, and has enticed him to the game (Living Evidence!!) He exemplifies my point of what new players are looking for, even if he isn't fully aware of what is going on, he has stated what brought him. From what I can tell of his posts at least. Are we just going to ignore that? Or the FACT that these populations were fuller when Fel was more dominant? And yes, I say this is a fact because it is supported by all evidence as I pointed out above. It would be as unfair for me to say trammel isn't attracting people at this point as it is for you to say Fel isn't. That's why I'm not going to encourage that debate..... We cannot debate this, because with the repeated addition of more Trammel zones, we can correlate a declining player population if anything.

Also, I would rather this thread be moderated post by post. It offers most than what I typically sit around reading when I spend my time here. I am looking for suggestions to expanding the PvP facets and I do not mind all of the trammies chiming in. We are trying to push others to come up with compromise and we need the trammel input as much as the PvP input. As I said in another thread, A PvMer's idea is going to be taken advantage of by a PvPer before a PvPers idea is taken advantage of by a PvMers. We are trying to mold ideas here that are feasible solutions. This is a problem that should be looked in to.

I'm not an EM event. I wasn't going to hand the idea out, but this is exactly what I was trying to push people to think towards. Thankyou, I fully support this comment! Run with this, and keep similar ideas/addons coming!
No, you aren't an EM event, your a person, lol. But if that was the idea you're trying to push why not just put it out there? A lot more people would be willing to let a pk enter the other facets (being bound by the tram-set rules) than to agree to expanding fel-rules into other areas.
