Was just watching gen chat and some of the PvPers were on, and it sounded to me that they might parallel a TV show:

Real Housewives of Ultima Online.

That started me thinking of other "Ultima Online TV shows" I might have been a guest star on:

IDOCing:
Storage Wars
or Pawn Stars

Crafting Suits/Weapons:
Ultima Onling County Choppers
Sons of Guns

EM events:
Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?
or
Any of the Bachelor/Bachelorette shows (come on EM, give me a rose dammit)

I am sure there are others out there too. Just a funny thought.

Executives at SyFy need to be batted around in a steel cage by something large and angry for a while. Say...sharktopus. They wouldn't know good programming if it starburst out their fracking wormhole...

Anyway, if UO were a TV show... It would have been cancelled a decade ago. So.. Lets all be glad its not.

True, but at least it would have been one of those shows thats cancelled, picked up in syndication, greenlit for another season, dropped, picked up again for syndication...

Syfy is a nbc\universal\ge property Not only have they tried to short change us on shows provided per season with big splits of time, (sound fermiliar?) They have handed us movies and programs that dont really go in the theme of the network (again sound fermiliar?) Where and Why in the name of Zeus and the gods does Wrestling go in si fi??
Reminds me of things that have crossed the players paths so many times it's not funny. They cancel a show that had a decient following due to a few whinny ad agencys, End a show cause its going on so good that years go by and they want to go out on top..... omg can I point out gunsmoke, or bonanza were decades in the public tv menu and are still watched today. Same with UO... we not a dead dog that no one is here to watch.... its all in the follow through. If you put up a thing like High Seas booster keep up the additions to the pack that keeps players hooked, new fish... a few quests for different fish numbers that add in non fishmonger towns. Make changes to the program to fit the people you got now and that will draw in the new and old back to the game. Send out a smoke signal to them that your willing to do something unlike SyFy. Eureka is dying too soon for my taste and so is many good ideas the Dev put in due to lack of the follow through.

Sometimes I feel like it's The View, or CSPAN on the floor during a piss-poor debate. Other times it's Antiques Roadshow, Mythbusters (for the number crunching) or The Ultimate Fighter.
