Irk Slayer?

What are the sampires of Uo using to slay those annoying changlings? Irk, Spite, and Guile? Irk being the most important for key gathering purposes.

Do you craft them with a certain runic to get the 100% elemental damage? Is there a specific sword I should be looking at to craft? I usually use longswords for the constant AI chains. Man I hate those changlings.

I was going to ask if anyone has tested a chaos damage weapon. Now isn't there a chance it will deal out physical damage?

If you don't get crazy unlucky and just make sure to keep CW up, seems to work - for me anyways. If your karma/chiv is low the duration might not be enough though.

Haven't done it in awhile, but I used the Soul Seeker. Not the best weapon around, but its not hard to get hold of one and the 100% cold damage made Irk easier then the 100% phys weapon I was using and I don't have to worry about mana drain for CW.

I used to use a leafblade for the specials. I generally use swords instead of fencing now though, so the answer would be broadsword or longsword.

Irk and Changelings are weak to Fey Slayer. I use the Defiler of Virtue along with Corpse Skin to kick the crap out of them.

no, fey slayer has no effect on changelings...

With reforging now you can do like I do... make all the slayers with all the 100% elemental damage and forget CW forever
Also with my UI you can have the macro that automatically picks the best weapon for the current target

As to me Irk is the most easiest of them. I don't like Spites with their annoying non-stop mana drain. I haven't mana for AI and without AI i do very little damage to leach back life/mana.

I believe they have the same resists as you have so valorite weapon doesn't help. I even think about getting a special suit with one very low resists. Changelings don't use concentrate weapon like me.

They must've changed it then, because i remember the Pixie Swatter used to do double damage to them. Even with the change though, the Defiler of Virtue still more than get's the job done, especially with Corpse Skin. My "Whammy" is an old Necro/Swordsman that i dropped Healing on for Bushido, so no Chiv for CW, -32,000 Karma too.

They don't copy your equipment stats. Changelings have very high physical resist, but their elemental resists are middle of the road. I believe if you polymorph a char with animal lore you can examine them.
