(Question) So what are the PvP or PvM guilds on this shard?

Howdy folks,

Just wanted to know what the current PvP or Spawning PvM structure is on Chessy at the moment. Baja is my home shard and I'm a complete stranger here, although I do recognize Gareth there.

Also, as a side note, I understand there's a terrific RP community here. Are there any sort of groups that do RP, PvP and spawns?

Any information would be terrific. Thanks!

Hi. Guilds... lets see. Chessy is mostly factions for PvP. The relevant guilds are P@!N/MM (TB), DOTA (Min), LD (COM), and UM@D (SL). I odered those basically by size. P@!N & MM have an aliance going. GS is a blue, non faction guild that PvPs almost exclusively at the Yew gate. That about sums up the PvP side of the house right now. Of the PvP guilds, P@!N is the only one that consistantly spawns. RBG and PITS are the other two main spawner guilds (both blue non-faction guilds). Both RBG and PITS will PvP, but they concentrate more on spawning. RBG is the biggest guild on Chessy, and I'm pretty sure that only some of their members venture into fel for spawning action. There are a lot of alliances in and around RBG, so random other guilds (usually CG) are with them. PITS spawns almost constantly. DOTA will defend them when they have people on. Also, there is some pirate stuff going on with the CG (crimson pirates) guild and they do some planned boat (ship, whatever) PvP against the good guys and stuff. Not sure how well that's been going lately.

Ok, so I think that's a pretty decent wrap up. I know nothing about RP and stuff like that, except that I know we have a great community of it. Happy day and welcome to Chessy.

If you're on the majority of the active shards I know that LD is looking to pick up a couple of regular players. Play time is usually 7p-10p CST most days . Others are on more than that but the core group of 6 or so plays at that time.

Also, if your looking for some RP, there are a few guilds here on Chessy that will gladly welcome your presence. One of those is " TPN" (the protectors of Nidaros). Another one that is growing fast with returning players is DWxC (Dragons Watch0. We all are part of a huge "Alliance" that meets every Tuesday night at 9PM EST. You are more then welcome to come and sit in on the get together. There are alot of RP'ing, and hunts or such before or after. It's run by Governor Winfield. The meeting tonight 3/6 is I believe at the Community center in Skara Brea. Please come. Also, we have alot of Highseas Pirateing going on and all such Rp'ing like that. So if your interested, look up Mayor Zanku of Nidaros (TPN) there at the meeting or stop by the Townhall/Tavern located in Nidaros (Tram). hope to see you there......
