I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest you not submit yours then
We have goals of rolling out a few fun contests and things and this is something Mesanna has been wanting to recognize and we offered it support. This isn't a "contest" that requires anything more than saying "hey, omg I have one!!" and a pat on the back for having the unique opportunity of keeping a home in that exact spot for so long and btw here it is, since I know where I virtually live
Why do we have to include an email (pretty much the main issue I have). Why can't we use stratics forum account instead. Starting an new email account just for this purpose is kind of ridiculous.

The email section was the default setting of the form I used. What, exactly are you worried that I'll do if I have your email address? Spam you with ads? Heck fill it in with something that looks like an email address, the form won't know the difference.
So far the only use I've made of submitted email addresses is to request further info if the form wasn't filled out correctly, eg no co ordinates so the house cannot be verified by Mesanna, or where an image link has been provided but it doesn't work.

I have two old houses and would like to submit them. I have too questions.
How do I take the whole picture of my tower? I like the picture of the tower where it shows the whole thing but I can't get it in.
Second question. How do I link the pictures. I am not sure where to post nor what to link. Post on homes and castles and then link that thread? Sorry for my lack of knowledge.

considering they can't even trigger all the return to brit houses to fall it seems to me there are major limitations to what they can do w/ housing in UO.

why not just do Pre-AOS houses? .. AoS was almost exactly 9 years ago
When it comes to finding something in game like ownerless houses or return to brit houses those at EA can't find their own behind with both hands and a map...

I have a castle that turns 10 years old on August 9th, 2012, which means it will be 10 years old before the 15th anniversary. Should I submit it? When is the deadline? Thank you for your help!

While none of my houses would qualify, how about some recognition for the early settlers of Lake Austin?
The shard opened in late 2002, and many of the early "arrivals" started new accounts to be early settlers, since it was a month or two before accounts existing before the opening could build there. Then, of course, there was the Malas land rush just a couple months after that.

Heck the house I submitted doesn't even show a "Built On" Date on the house sign.. yet the design is old and was removed over a decade ago. Wonder if this would finally let me find out exactly how old the house is.

Some of the devs were flown out to California for the EA Dev Con thing so they might not be back yet.
Patience people, Mesanna is doing these herself, alongside her already heavy workload. There are a heck of a lot of houses to do, and more being added all the time. Check the page I'm creating for them.
Is it too late to submit? Also, how old is old enough?
I wonder if it might be too late to suggest "... part of the Royal Britannian Historical Society..." or something similar rather than "... UO's Historical Society..."
The RPer in me disdains internal references to the game itself.

You know those historical markers you see along the sides of roads and there is nothing surrounding them?
I totally agree and said so a few posts back! "UO" really means nothing to Sosarians. That being said, I do love the banners and appreciate the effort Mesanna is making. *smiles*
I'm wondering if the banner location will pose potential house problems?.. looks like Mesanna is placing them right next to the front wall. What happens if you decide to customize or convert to customizable house and the banner is now in the spot where the steps would go?
I have posted and filled out applications for both Leiah's Rune Library and for the Wandering Wisp Tavern in Fel. I just filled out the ap for the Wandering Wisp but I put Leiah's in last week some time and I don't have a banner for that one yet.
Mesanna is doing the banners herself, and if you take a look at the pages I'm makiing, you'll see she has a lot of them to do. If your house isn't on those pages, please re-submit unless it was submitted in the last 12 hours.

Is this still going on? I have 2 unique homes established in 2003. I'd love for them to have banners, each has rich history. One is the home of Treasure Hunters of Britannia, and the other is a 3-story maze with twisty passages. The form doesn't work.
