Clarification on bugged houses that will not fall

most of us know about RTB (return to britannia) houses and the fact they are bugged and do not decay

I am curious what the official word is on getting these to decay?

some questions

1. is there a way players can determine if a house is RTB bugged? (I think not)

2. what do we do if we suspect a bugged house? page GM > Other?

3. can a GM tell if a house is RTB bugged or only Developers?

4. are GM's trained not to delete a legitimate house on accident?

5. will the house be instantly deleted w/ contents deleted or will it simply start decay process?

Email Mesanna the shard, facet, coordinates, and house name.

I understand that it is Mesanna herself that deletes the bugged houses. I assume she can see if the house is on an active account, recently closed account, and/or a closed account has been closed for more than 90 days.

The house I reported was gone the next day after I had checked it. There was no decay cycle. I reported the house as I never saw anyone there no matter the time of day for over a year.

I have no clue if GM have any part of the process.

Where did I say I am deleting houses, I said I went to the location given and did not find a house. How did that get turned around to I would just delete a house ....

fact is at any time someone can report your house and it could be deleted. sad but true.

a guy lost his house and it wasn't his fault. I guess that doesn't mean crap to you but it does to me. you'd be singing a different tune if you were in his position.

Don't twist my statements around to better suit your trolling. You know full well I was responding to your blatant misinterpretation of mesanna's post only. I feel badly for his loss but I'm not going to support someone who is clearly trying to spread unfounded accusations, especially after it was already cleared up about what she meant to say.

This thread is about deleting "bugged houses." The first post and Haddy's post had NOTHING to do with the situation involving Lord Luther's house on Atlantic that should have received a banner but instead vanished under mysterious circumstances.

I'm pretty sure Haddy was trying to say that "bugged houses" generally seem to be deleted by Mesanna, or at least at her direction.

Yes, no one is doubting that he lost his house or that it happened under quite mysterious circumstances. My point was simply you completely misread and misquoted mesanna's post well after she cleared it up as well as attempt to twist my statement.

Tina is correct. I am only talking about the Returned to Britannia houses that are bugged and never fall. This has nothing to do with the grandfathered house that went missing.

Years ago there was a post directing people to email Mesanna the details on a suspected RtB house. I followed that direction last October and the system worked, I assume it was Mesanna herself, but it could have been someone in Customer Service. Either way the bugged house is gone now.

My point is I don't believe she is leaving it to the GM to handle.
