Where are all the Raiders?

Everytime I log in and I hear news from the town crier that a city is under attack by Raiders I get excited. I get to the city mentioned and waste a bunch of time finding nothing but angry protesters and rioters. I check both tram and fel. Once all the raiders are gone the crier should stop saying the town is under attack. Is there a particular time that raiders pop?

Raiders are in a few towns on Europa but the town criers have no news .. and the raiders are right next to them!

Criers are messed up and need fixing.

I believe i read at UOF that they spawn at 1 town per facet

I checked tram on Europa earlier and I saw raiders in Britain, Minoc, Skara, Trinsic, Vesper and Yew.

First time I've seen any raiders.

We just had some in Magincia, on Chesapeake.

The spawn appears to be at irregular intervals.

Check the town criers and global chat.

On GL for example when I hear of some I usually mention it in Global Chat.

Sherry the Mouse statues also work. Well on Atlantic they do anyway, and they all seem to be very accurate on the raiders spawning. The first day the criers were wrong a couple of times, but since then they have been 100% right when they have announced a raid in a certain town and I have been on. *shrugs*

I'm guessin that it's the same "dev" in charge of the "Raider" messages who is also in charge of the "Professor Wilson" thanksgiving turkey message that still annoys us months after the turkeys have gone back into hibernation...

Actually they might finally be gone, but for sure they were still there prior to this latest publish... But I know you get my point anyway...
