Arms-Lore bonus, not working for Runics?

So I was trying to craft a weapon with a Dull-Copper Runic Hammer, and I've noticed the Damage Increase shows at +25%, when I switch and use a non-runic crafting tool, it is set at +40%

All items were exceptionally crafted, and I have 100.0 arms lore on my crafter still.

Runic Tool - Exceptional = +25% DI
Normal tool - Exceptional = +40% DI

This should be checked out while crafting is being worked on.

I've not tried to craft armor with runic tools to see if the resist bonus from Arms Lore is being applied as it should. but it might be a good idea to hold on to your runics if you care for the extra bonuses to resist/DI that "Arms-Lore" provides.

I forget if it worked like this for weapons but I know it does not work and has always been that way with sewing kits and armor. It was deemed to powerful.

I see, it worked for weapons previous to this last pub. wasn't so sure about the armor.

It's probably not a big deal, most people take damage increase off or imbue it down to get mods that actually do something anyway...

I noticed the same thing the other day while burning a few val hammers that I got from paying a bribe. It seemed to me that when I did get that 25% I was getting 6 mods....not 100% sure but I think it was the case.

I'll also add that my 3 hammers produced a pile of relics.

It's a big deal if you burn high level runics, such as vals. :( Defeats the purpose of them.

It is a big deal. If you don't want the 40% DI then stone off Arms Lore and make weapons all you want. Some players are looking for that rare wep that has it all with the 40% added on so it is PoF able. Not every player wants all his/her stuff imbued.

YEP, Clearly a bug introduced with last publish.

You should get 35% + 5% Arms Lore bonus regardless of runic hammer or not.

I"ve been make DC runic weapons for years with 40% DI. I use DC runic to look for super slayer and ones with SSI 30% to save imbuing ingredients. All of them have 40% DI on them. I can post screen shots if needed.

This is clearly a bug.

Don't use any runics until they fix it.

And it wasn't 25% DI on weapons since like 8 years ago. They upped it to 35% at that point. Its been a LONG time since you could craft an EX weapon less than 35% DI.
