hurray to the mitt romney of uo.Sorry, but the BOD changes really should be a flat rate, or per character based escalating cost; otherwise the dedicated early adaptors will shove the prices way up for the casual gamers who come late to it (such as at the weekend), which is the wrong way of tempting anyone else into playing that part of the game. And whilst I'm sitting on thousands of looted bods, and can wait to see if interest dies off in a few weeks, and bribe prices drop again due to inactivity, the design still leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth in general interests of fairness.
Yup, I agree and voiced that to the devs to no avail. No matter - I AM one of the powergamers and already have one val hammer completed and the bods to finish 6 more. I haven't spent more than a couple mil on bribing costs doing the large bods first at server up this morning taking advantage of cheap prices then upgradeing my stash of verite normal plate bods. Taking all of them to Val 20ex and some only take 10-20k of bribing due to already being high and smiths counters being set low.
I get as much as possible done today - then sit on the hammers till the bribing cost is astronmical and then sell them.
Plenty of time to bribe up POF bods later because even at a high multiple cost you are only talking Iron to DC ex.
Powergame for the win.
