Next Booster House Tile Set

Now I know there may not be another booster, but if there is could I put in a request for the next tile set? I was wondering if we could get a tile set that would allow us to make a terrain house. To elaborate further, could we get a tile set that would allow us to make a grassy hill with perhaps a cave entrance in the side of the hill that would lead to an interior decorated with cave walls?

I had a mind to create something like this for an RP Event and I'm tinkering with making a grassy hillside out of stacked green goza mats, but a design like this will be a customization nightmare if I find I need to change something and all my goza mats go into my moving crate!

These things are more or less on the lines of “be creative yourself”, not something we need to pay good money for. You should really take some time and explore some of the better populated shards. Some people really do outstanding work with nothing more then what's offered in game. Sometimes it can be unique and surprising. Granted, you have to look. These are like a .001% of the total house kind of houses. You have to step onto the house to see anything... don’t forget. You will also find far more houses that aren't so very unique but very well designed/decorated. You name any idea... I’m sure someone has figured it out, someplace already.

Besides... the only 2 things about the Gothic/Rustic sets that was any good was the plant beds. The tile sets were incomplete and very poorly designed. Ask any skilled house designer.

If anything it would be nice to have... a TENT tile set. It's already in the graphics catalog, less any stairs needed. There’s even a catapult. Never seen one in game anyplace. They also missed out on the burned/blacken walls of an evil mage tower, if you want to talk about dungeon walls. Then we have all the missing transition tiles... sand. I could go on.

I would much rather see a new full addition with a new race... as long as the staff actually tests tinting before handing it to us. The gargoyle stuff is the worst.

Haha, actually I haven't seen the Hobbit trailer yet and I wasn't even thinking of the shire, but now that you mention it, Hobbit Hole windows would be a good addition for this idea!

I was thinking about this today and wanted to make a thread about this also! Good to see one already there.

What I'd like is that tiles fit with the current tilesets. For example, a while ago, the two castle tiles were expanded with stained-glass windows, which have exactly the same stone parts as the existing tiles.

I'd like them to do more of that, at least that the tiles match color with existing tiles. The gothic and rustic tiles are indeed incomplete, and since they don't blend in with any of the other sets, these two sets are completely unusable when creating a house.

I'd love to have the crystal house set redone and expanded on. The crystal tile set used to be bright blue (it was changed right before their release!), just like the crystal pillars. The dark green and black walls don't really match anything I think. So, expand the crystal tile set with the old blue crystal tiles and give it some more options. Like some nice gold/metal decorative patterns on them.

I'd also love more options for the sandstone tiles.

And last, please fix the existing gargoyle tiles. Many of the walltiles stick through the floors above them, which is not good!

sandstone are probably the best set since you have all the pieces you may need...

We should make a table with all the pieces and check what is missing on each set so Grimm have something to think about

"before making more" comment aside, making all the housing sets have the same number of pieces is one of my eventual goals.

Hehehe. Well ideally, there will not be any issues with the roofs with the updates -although roof sets have been SUCH a pain!

I know we're all really excited about getting these finished up and out the door. Mind you, I'm not planning on having all the housing tiles consistent until after we get a lot further down the high res artwork path. Just so everyone knows, these things will come in passes.

Sweet Grimm... I've always complained that the castle colored stone tiles do NOT have half or 1/3 wall pieces like all the others do. So you can't make proper ramparts for the top of homemade keeps.

I'd be super happy if those were added.

Ooo the things I could do with full tile sets!

And adding the decorative cording to the 1/2 and 1/3 wall pieces for the Marble would soooo make my day! The current parts I almost hate to use because they totally don't look "finished"...

And I don't know how many corners are missing.... not only from walls and floor tiles but from carpets too.....

Yep, the castle stone tiles have always been my favorite. All but one of my houses is in this stone tile set. I would so love for the missing pieces to be added.

There are so many pieces missing from the decorative floor tiles, the ones with patterns and borders etc..

Perfect example for you of how players use what we have for what we need.

I was searching for something (item) and visiting all the vendor shops I know. I never actually stepped up on this one house, but I noticed they had large square "rubble" boulders from the thread trade in quest, Maginica. If you remember... that wasn’t a long time ago. This player used the rocks to build larger walls... making them look much bigger then they were. Simply just stacking the rocks and raising them. The whole effect made the house look like it was surrounded by large stone outcroppings. May cost a bunch to collect these rocks now... but it was a great idea and I thought of this thread when I saw it.
