"Number of visits this Building has had".........

It was my understanding, that when a house was traded the entire co-owner' and friends' lists were automatically, and understandably, cleared upon transferring the House to another account.

Now, that is not the same for the "Number of visits this Building has had" ?

Is there a way other than demolishing and rebuilding the house to reset this statistics to 0 ?

Thanks.

Set the building as private then back to public?

I think the details for visits continue on, like the date it was placed... if you need to know how many visits you have had since you took over just take a note of what they are sitting at now :)

I think it would be interesting to see who visited as well as the number of visits. I have an out-of-the-way place in Fel that has 2 total visits. I would be interested to see who visited.

That's a work around, yes, I just thought, that since the co-owners' and friends' lists get cleared upon transferring the House to a different account, also the number of visits got reset upon transferring which, instead, appears not to be the case.......

No it does not reset the visitors list.

There are two ways to reset the list if it is that important to you. Both ways you must REMOVE EVERYTHING FROM THE HOUSE. The first way is to demolish the house and then replace it. NOT RECOMENED.

The best way is to resize the house with the exact same size plot. UOStratics has an outstanding write up on how to do this. I have moved Castles and Keeps with this method and the visitor count has gone back to zero every time. If a larger plot can be placed there then you may go bigger. Best way to find this out is to go to every shard and go to that location and see what is there and then see if it will fit where your house is at. If your house is in Tram or Fel remember to visit the other one as in most cases what will fit in Tramor Fel will fit in Fel or Tram. Good luck. REMEMBER TO EMPTY YOUR HOUSE BEFORE DOING THE DEMOLISH OR THE RESIZE.

Should be very careful with old homes, it might not be a valid placement anymore.

That is why I said to visit all shards to see what is in the same spot he has. I also assumed he has a customizable plot and should be fairly safe doing the resize.

Sadly it doesn't really mean anything, if a bird flies into your house it counts it as a visitor. (or at least it used to count stray animals)
