Looking for the Holiday Spirit!

Happy Holidays!

Sosaria Reels is looking for individuals, groups, events, houses that show off our Holiday Spirit!

If you know of events, decorated houses/areas, individuals or groups willing to go caroling, even red versus green pvp (just can't leave fel behind!) please let us know. You can either leave a response in this thread or PM Sosaria Reels. We will go to any shard, tram or fel!

With the video and still captures we will build a UO Christmas card (let's show those other games what they don't have and will NEVER have!).

This is a brief/rough example of one idea for the UO Christmas card and sort of a challenge to everyone to show off your shards' creativity!​

This year will, for me be kept at a minimum decor but .. what about the rest of Sonoma? So I went searching for evidence of the Season's spirit and finally found this house wonderfully decorated and full of the Season's spirit:

The owner hasn't a clue that I have screen shot and co-ordinated their house and submitted this - yet, but honestly, I will leave a message and link to this forum in a book which will be placed in their mail box after I post this. I fear other houses may not be open to the public .. but hey - if they read these forums and this post, Sonoma might open up it's doors and have some fun?

When you are ready to 'visit' Sonoma just give a holler in general chat ... there are many kind folks on Sonoma who will gladly help get you to where you want to go and we have public libraries located inside Luna which also will help.

We would be glad to provide a town rune book as well as one for next weeks Holiday Deco Tour. Feel free to contact me to help set you up.

This is 2 years ago.

After a long line of happy visitors came to the Red & Purple Mini Mall on Atlantic... the staff had a group picture.

Maybe someplace between 200-300 visitors came in this one 5 hour event. A very big load of work that year! One way in... a different way out thanks to the vet teleporters.

Unlike the houses completely built from scratch for whatever holiday theme... our public establishment does the best with taking up most of the rooftop garden and replacing it with a different version of a Christmas Village, each year, just for these events. What you can't see is all the extra bits added to the front garden, the little bits of décor inside 2 other levels.

Hello Alton. Good Work. Submit your houses to the Original Poster of this thread. I have runes for them to your houses. Perhaps click on their name 'Sosaria Reels' and send them a private message?

I had fun trying to link your two cottages together into one picture. On another thread another person taught me a quicker method of cutting and pasting parts of pictures together quickly to be joined together in one picture. FUN!! This was good practice.

Sonoma! You have some excellent houses and we will be headed out your way this morning (Thursday). A videographer will be out and about soon and hopefully on a reasonably self-sufficient character. If a newbie char then we will be dependent on your continued wonderfulness to get us to where we need to be. Either coords or runes would be great!

Everyone else... Will be starting out to check on the other shards right after Sonoma so please, report any sightings of the Holiday Spirit asap!
