another pet in shame going POOF post

i remember seeing a couple posts over the last month about pets going poof in shame.

i thought id post mine from today.

was on my Prox Swampy today in shame, got killed by the 3 unbound EVs i was fighting, pet got insta smacked by them and died.

didnt think anything of it till i res'd my guy right there with my wifes account and couldnt find my prox dragon.
checked my control slots, not there.
checked my stable, not there.
logged in and out, not there.

paged a GM, ya i know, and surprisingly enough one was there before my prox swampys body disappeared and we chatted, he of course verified that there was no pet under my control and apologized for it going poof.

strange thing was is that i check my pets every day when i log in, and it was bonded to me 100% for sure.

so there is definitely something strange about shame with the killing of rides.

just thought id pass along the info.

(and wow, GM response time was killer fast!!!)

Tip for the future [assuming your not afk killing!!!]

Log out straight away and back in and your pet will go into an auto stable [that you will get a message about] till you log in alive again, saving it from dying and the many problems there are with pets

poo, all i can say is sorry for your loss,

seems these pets going poof are centered around the unbound EV's, my cu, mare/beetle and my GD have all died a few times down on the lower levels, unfornatuly ive never got past the dieseased/elder gazar on level 5 so have yet to get to the EV's, but each death my pet has been fine,

i hope EA bother to put some effort into replicating this issue an then fixing it,

an i nearly feel out of bed with the GM comment, WOW that WAS fast!!!

i wasn't too concerned about my pet dying as i was there on my other computer with my disco tamer so i could res it, but it didn't matter either way as all 3 EVs insta targeted my proxy swampy.
it was dead before my screen came up mono chrome.

im not ticked or anything.
ive seen the posts last little while, so its a risk i knew i was taking, i just thought id mention that it happened again.

the more we point out the glitch, the better the odds that they can narrow down whats happening and kill the bug.

I mean, ALT-F4 is quite fast logout and it "should", at least in theory, allow to disconnect before the pet gets killed thus forcing for the auto stabling.

But would it work ? Anyone tried it before ?

Yep, same exact same thing happened to me at same place fighting an UEV couple weeks ago. Lost my Paroxy swamp dragon that insta bonds to you. I hope someone can fix this so others don't loose one too.

can they be traded after bonding? if so it could be linked to the bug with insurance if someone else insures it as someone posted a couple of days ago it doesnt become insured to you.

10 years and i didnt know alt f4 closed the game instantly [just tested it],

Thanks will come in handy when i get dc'd or lag in future and get a frozen screen.
