I stealthed in, and skinned her scales, and crafted lenses.

So how many do I need to wear when I hunt her?

well my tamer uses 4 or 5 charges total my dexer uses about 50 charges per fight to give you a estimate.

I used to use 2-3 per fight on my sampire.

You can put them on helm, neck and earings and maybe something else i cant remember.

Just to be clear, I have the lenses that I got from skinning her live, which from what I understand give 100% chance of success. I plan on fighting her with a sampire. Will 2 or 3 do it? For my first solo voyage, how many should I put on?

After you make the lens using scalles and crystal dust..
It takes 2 - 3 lens per fight..with some charges left over..
Thats if you solo her.
In group it takes less charges , so 2 tops for made lens..

I stealthed after her and skinned her several times, I think i got 14 scales total

shield is the other spot, if i solo medusa i use about 3 lenses per

You get a certain amount skinning her when fighting..
And after she dies..
You can also use dragon scales, there just not as good to prevent being turned to stone and cloned..

you get 12 light blue scales (scaling her life) sometimes you get up to 5 more but the av. is 12. Apply them on neck, head and earings (one each) this gives you a buffer... Charges are first allways taken from head. As soon as the head runs out reapply a new one to the head...per fight with the buffer I use 2 with my sampire...Did Medusa 263 times now ooh and always cut up the corpse after she is dead gives you the grey-blue scales which get you 200 points each for clean up....and while your at it make sure you kill the undead gargoyles, the horns they sometimes carry give each 1000 clean-up points
