I'm training my Cu on a shadow ele and I noticed that as the ele fights his skills also raise. Is it possible to do something similar with an Untamed Greater dragon to raise its skills before taming it?

possibly

I've known about this for years (especially stuff like meditation and anatomy starting at 0 for most creatures, and going up), but I haven't noticed any creature with skills over 100 gain any in their 100+ skills from it. Then again, those skills are hard to gain in, anyway, and Magery in particular may run into the end of the skill gain window, since creatures can't cast 8th circle spells. Resist Spells, Eval Int, Wrestling and Tactics might require training against something with similar skill range, and keeping one GD from killing another long enough for the wild one to get skill gains, even if possible, might be problematic.

Any Dev want to comment if it's even possible?

I have also noticed that the shadow elementals skill will raise as well and eventually both skills will be similar and go up gradually. If you want to raise your greater dragons wrestling/anatomy/tactics try killing boura. Do prercolems quests also and get boura hides spined/horned leather and percolem quest rewards. Long ago there was no end to skills and stats gained on monsters or animals and some of them could get very powerful. People would keep a grizzly bear captive in their house ot train skills on. Those bears would be so strong and skilled eventually you would gain rapidly form them. My how things have changed.

It won't do any good, a creatures max skill is 100 or whatever it spawned as (whichever is higher), and it's max stats 125 or whatever it spawned at (whichever is higher). The reason a shadow ele raises skills until it hits gm while you're fighting it is it spawns under 100 skill.
