cold spells

I give wot cold based spells do we have?? A lot newer mobs resists are lowest in cold. We need a new spell "CONE OF COLD"

Though I would say a higher damaging cold spell should be available for mages.

I have been putting them all to alot of use in Shame. Too bad we do not have a summoned elemental that does cold damage.

Dur, forgot about Wither, great spell to cast if you're a necro. Hailstorm I wasn't aware was cold damage, that's cool, but I do still think the Mage skill alone should have more options.

Edit: oh, though wither is a great spell, against monsters in shame (unless you're on level 1 and facing multiple mobs) I think you're better off with Corpse Skin + Fireball.

I usually don't have that much problem with getting my EV's dispelled too many times. Right when a target pops up,I hit mass sleep then drop two EV's then spam either hailstorm or harm,depending on the number of the mob.That tactic usually doesn't give the mob time to do much fighting,or dispelling.

Edit: Technically,Nether Cyclone could also dish out cold damage. The spell is chaos damage so it has a 20%(?) chance to roll cold.

actually, we do have an elemental that does cold...the water ele does 100% cold melee, hehe...

but really doesn't seem worth it at the rate of dispel...will have to try w/ sleep .

I can see why the game should dispel EVs and the like, but it's too bad water eles and fire eles will likely never be used since they can only be used one per time per char and since they are dispelled so fast.

Harm, Mindblast. (Mindblast is not affected by Eval Int, therefore its a good attack spell for templates without Eval)

Necro:

Wither

Mysticism:

Essence of Wind

I have always thought that Essence of Wind was energy damage. I need to do my "homework" better.
