Its a pretty standard temp. When using necro hit hard and leech. When using Mystic RC and healing stone are you friends. With cleansing winds being a good healer. The big difference is fc and fcr. The faster you cast the better. Its good temp overall either way. It also has the benifits of being fun to play. Just remember to watch your mana.

120 throwing
120 Anatomy [or] 120 Resisting Spells (depending on monsters)

120 Chivalry
100-120 Focus (depending on your account age)
120 Mysticism
120 Tactics
Super Slayer + EoO + ConcW gives you almost 200% bonus to damage.
DF gives you 20% DI 15% SSI 15%(?) HCI so you need just 80% DI, 10% SSI and 30% HCI on your equipment (you can get 25% HCI from your weapon).
You also need 2+ FC and 6 FCR and HML.

Always have DF + ConcW + Enchant buffs on.
Try to have EoO on (there are rare situations when you can't). You can rearrange EoO vs another monster type by double casting. It takes a fraction of second with 2/6.

Always have a healing stone in your backpack and another healing stone triggered (to get another healing stone fast - and you recast spell trigger when get some free time).

Use chivalry spells to heal/cure/remove curses/dispel.
Use DF to refresh stamina.
Use AI on every second shoot to get 240 damage.
Use Mortal Strike to prevent monsters from healing.
Use (Mass) Sleep + Colossus when you need a tank (Let Colossus attack monster first).
Use Spell Plague to get a bonus damage (work great with Colossus).
Use chivalry or mysticism AoE spells vs crowds.

We normally are in here. Also feel free to ask suit advice in here. We tend to be much warmer then in UHall as most of us love thinking about and talking about this stuff. Besides more dexers is always good for us.

Aren't you getting more dmg out of just auto-attack than the time it takes to cast spell plague? It's also a high mana cost spell.

Do you not use stone form? I'd probably run that against anything slow moving.

With 2/6 it isn't slow compared with my swing speed (2 sec). It looks like I can cast it between swings.
Colossus swings much faster and it triggers additional damage.

But I haven't done any calculations on this topic.

I don't use stone form. I preffer fly and don't allow monsters to hit me. (I have 0 DCI on my suit and -15% DCI from DF... I need a better suit).

I'm currently messing around with a garg mystic thrower which is versatile for both PVM/PVP.

Temp is:

120 Throwing
120 Mysticism
120 Focus
120 Resist
100 Tactics
100 Parry
40 Magery (for protection when need)

I like the concept and want to give it a good go, but the problem i have is that on the throwing weapon there is a - 1 FC penalty when imbuing Spell Channelling.

I have 2/5 on ring and bracelet but cannot find anything where i can make up the -1 FC penalty as 1/5 is too slow when it comes to using cleansing winds etc.

Anybody know anything i dont?

You needn't imbue it - just cast Enchant.

You can imbue 1 FC instead or use an artifact weapon.

You can imbue FC onto a shield but you can't then imbue Spell channelling.

With regards enchant, i didnt really want to rely on the spell tbh, its a bit of a pain in the ass to cast mid fight.

A bit. Understatement of the year. I hate it when that happens. It can actually be a bit of a tricky time to get everything on with this temp but its fun to play and amazingly effective. (If you go the enchant route remember your spell stone)

Didn't quite like the ideal to use RC for tank, those yellow bosses runs wayway faster than rc,yr only options is to stay and fight, while u fighting u can't cast any spell, unless u can hide and distract the boss, otherwise it will come rush to u when they get hitted by u.

1. Cast sleep or mass sleep.
2. Cast RC
3. Move out of range. Wait for Colossus hits monster and gets his agro.
4. Come back and attack

Since you have magery you can do it another way (classic for mages):
1. Cast invis or tele then invis (this gives you time to cast RC)
2. Cast RC
3. Cast invis again. Wait for Colossus hits monster and gets his agro.
4. Attack with spells (Plague is a good choice) or just stay in invis while Colossus does the all work.

That's the more classical way to use hide to play it, to me this method is too slow and it kind of wasted the throwing skill, coz once you hit the boss, it will turn to you instead, u either stay and fight(if that's the case, I dont really need the RC), or run/hide as u mentioned, wait RC did the job for u. But most of the time RC is nice, just won't work on those fast run bosses :sad3:

The reason for the RC is good damage and it will help tank. Remember to use your healing stone. It works and its fun. If your looking for aggression then this might not be the way to go.

No, mini-champ bosses don't turn to you but continue attack your Colossus.
You spend 5 sec for MS+RC combo and save a lot of time because needn't fly around, needn't cast heal, etc - just stand and throw.

And if you want (and I strongly recommend that you do this) cast spell plague.

I agree it works fine for Mini-Champ bosses, sorry I think i meant some spawn that run real fast to chase you till the buttom of the world!!! such as u forgotten servant, if you have seen it, you know they will hunt u down until you are dead, and RC is a bit useless then if you dont hide yrself.:sad3:

I used to kill servants using RC. But now they all are paragons. Do you know what has happened?

There is no consensus on the paragon. I myself think it’s a bug, but then again I am not a dev so it would take one of them to answer to find out.
