(Question) Missing Barrels

Since I don't have a thief, I was hoping to find some copper wire at the Buc's Den Smithy tonight; however, the barrels they are supposed to spawn in have vanished. Does anyone know if this is a new development? (I haven't visited Buc's Den in a long time.)

On the trammel side once emptied you can take them along with the fruit basket on the table if you eat the fruit first. Nicer folk would leave the barrels as the spawn happens every hour I think.... But most times they take the barrels too :} Visit the fel side for your spawn as those barrels aren't removeable!

In order to take the barrels they must be emptied first, then filled with water, then the water needs to be emptied. Only then can the barrels be taken.

This is not an accident, this is someone griefing.

It's possible someone may be invested in collecting copper wire now that it can be used to make distilleries. I saw a distillery for sale in Luna at a very high price. I'd rather make my own. Guess I'll have to wait a bit until I can find a piece of copper wire elsewhere. Hopefully I'll find a vendor that carries the wire at a reasonable price. I'm patient... can't fight the current coding/game mechanics.
