StoneCrab Fishing info needed?

After reading the stratics info on stone crabs I have a few questions if anyone could help me out. Their available in lost lands(aka the second age) has anyone caught any, any place other than t2a? second question can they only be caught with traps? or can they be caught with pole since it also can be baited with the stone crab bait? Any info from a actual stone crab fisher would be appreciated. Also no skill is listed as minimum to catch these . Is there a min skill to catch these? and if so what? thks in advance for any info that you can share thks.

Not sure what the skill level is but I have caught a few ... though I'm 120 fishing...

I used traps .... in t2a. That's the only place I've ever caught them.

Did not use bait.

I don't think you can catch crabs on a pole.

To the OP: I started to catch stone ..... when I reached around 107 in skill - only in T2A....

Do you pull traps after 1 minute or much longer?

I caught my first stone crab with an unbaited trap well before 110 fishing. If memory serves me right, it was before 100, but I can't affirm that with certainty. Since then I have caught at least 50, trying to get a really big one for display. Using bait does increase your chances.

I've caught them at gm skill and anywhere in the t2a waters surrounding Papua. Bait makes a huge difference on these critters.
