Check your credit card statement to see if they really charge you £9.99.

Everyone else who's on a UK credit/debit card who's seen the Account Management page saying they'll charge you £9.99 plus tax has found that the actual charge hitting the card is only the £9.99.

It is still more than the Americans, but not so much more.

I recently switched to 6 month GTC from uogamecodes.com

US$ 59.99 = 37.40 British pounds

Works out the cheapest way to pay.

in September it was 14.20 for some reason
and in Oktober it went back to 13.99 (which is 19,30 USD btw)
Strange...

Edit here: I just did the maths... I have to pay 115,80 UDS for 6 months and Kayne, you are saying I could get that for 59,99????

I guess I have to change something here...
On the other hand... I think the company really needs my money

erm, next edit (brain is not working today):

how would I do this? Purchase the gametime, enter the code and AFTER this cancel my credit card billing info?

Sounds right yes, Just have to get a calendar going so you know when to buy another 6 months of gametime.

Buying in bulk really is the way to go, What I do and I haven't had any issues.

As mapper said it works no problem. Cancel your card (if you havent yet run out of time) buy the GTC apply it and away you go.

As i said above for me it currently works out at US$ 59.99 = 37.40 British pounds.

Or in Euros
US$ 59.99 = 43.54 Euros.

Last question about this - I promise:

I always get billed around the 9th of the month but I cannot seem to figure out if they are billing me for the NEXT or the LAST month. If I buy a gametime code, should I wait until the period is over and enter it then? Or does it not matter because the system will actually "see" that I have already payed for the month (by CC) and simply attach the gametime after the already payed time runs out...

Sorry for my english, I hope the above makes any sense...

Arkanos, if I go and pay a month now I have 30 days from today until that time runs out. So you are always billed for the next 30/90/180 days.
When i've switched from monthly to GTC I let it run out and go buy it then. Once applied account is immediately usable again.
