Veritae's Music Box Gear (NEW)

Recently with-in the last 3 months I added the song "Wanderer" to my music box. On the music box gear sight it shows confusing information about it spawning in the underworld.

Can someone please confirm the songs respawning in the abyss and that the only way to show the difference between the old one and the new one is the wording difference between the ACTUAL gears. Once loaded into the box (i have a old box and a new one) they show identical on the list.

Just want to confirm this on other shards besides Siege? Another poster on Sieges forum was skeptical.

i recall them saying that they were re-releasing this track as some people where miffed that they couldnt get it anymore.

i have 3 full music boxes, but must admit i just assumed that the gear was the same so didnt bother going to go and get a new copy of it.

now i will have to i guess to check and see if i can add it to my boxes.

I look at the Picture on the sight and it says "Veritae's blah blah" on the top line and Wanderer on the bottom line. The new one (and im pulling this from a smoke filled memory) says Wanderer on the top line and Rare on the bottom line. Making the ultra rare gear ITSELF (out of the box, never used) truely rare. If added to the box it shows the exact same wording on the music box list "The Wanderer" for both gears.

So unless it can be removed, and the program saved the difference between the 2, finding and proving true rarity will be more difficult.

Someone posting a screeny of the new gear would be excellant.

Based on the amount of people on anyones shard, Ill throw a figure of 10 million on a Shard such as Siege P. too as high as 50 million on a
large Trammel based shard. (price based on proving via screeny the new gear exists). "Gear Only" worded exactly as sight pic shows. Maybe 5 Million Siege too 25 Million Large Trammel till then.

I'm not sure on that; I paid 6m for mine on Europa about a year ago. But then, I've not seen them advertised since so possibly they do go much higher. I wasn't aware though it had been added to the Sutek quest, but again I've not done it for a few months either...

ya know whats strange.

i remember them saying they were re-releasing The Wanderer and i remember being kinda peeved that they where ruining my rare, but i just went all the way back to April in the patch notes and i cant see it listed anywhere in there.

i thought for some reason it was pub 71 that they released it, but like i said i went all the way back to April and couldn't see anything about it.

anyone remember when they put it back out?
or point to the official release statement?

I remember there was talk, but i think it was just someone 'wanting' it to be re-introduced.

I don't think the Wanderer is currently dropping, I'm pretty sure it is just wishful thinking from some people.

I can understand why they would like it to spawn again, yet this could be said with pretty anything not currently spawning in the game. In this case it would even be worse because once in the box there would be no way to distinguish an original track from a new one.

Yea i never heard anyone saying it spawn in the sutek quest

I think u missunderstand the information about it spawning in the underworld

The wanderer sountrack was first introduced in a game called Ultima Underworld the stygian abyss in the early 90

Ultima Onlines expansion Stygian abyss took inspiration from that game

Many of the sound tracks in dawns music box comes from diffrent games Ultima9, Ultima 7 serpents island , Ultima Underworld i think thats what the description is refering 2

If this was changed it was recent, as it was confirmed and confirmed and confirmed up to about 6 months ago that the quest did NOT drop that gear.
