Major Major bug in loot system for new Shame

hehe... I'm not arguing the bug, just curious

And guys... EVs alway attacked anything and anyone in their vicinity... cast yourself a earth elemental if you want something under your control.

You guys got used to the tramellised version of the EV, perhaps it was meant to be restored to the way it was...

Stop trolling lol EVs haven't attacked each other since T2A. It's a bug. Either help out and test something or shutup.

I have a very small sample size, shield of invul and a scrappers, in a sub-bag, died twice on first level, nothing changed, tried insured shield first time and non-insured the second, no difference. Went to third level for 5 minutes, then left the dungeon all the way back through entrance, no change to those two items. Hm.

Ed: 0 Luck on my character, maybe you need luck...

Ok, I got it to work by not dieing. Had a bag of artifacts - Was in level 3 for about 20 minutes - nothing would change. The minute I LEFT the dungeon through the front entrance, EVERYTHING in the bag changed to shame loot.

2k+ luck suit btw

I can't get it to work.

Tina was down there with me...we killed bloods, poisons, airs...I died a few dozen times..left..recalled out ..nothin..NOTHIN!!

So I don't know how to duplicate it. I'm on a mage tamer, I didn't summon anything just used my pet, same with Tina....so I don't know!

I didn't die on TC1 (Larisa got that pleasure). None of my stuff looks to have been affected. Logged out once (or maybe twice) while still down there and then 2x after that while outside the dungeon. All seems fine. We went to the beach with the air eles and then tried a diseased blood ele (too tough for us to make a dent with a cu and a GD). Never did get it killed and retrieve whatever it swiped from Larisa. Hope it gets fixed. Gotta run now. Won't be testing on Origin till we hear stuff is fixed.

I just want to add, I did all my testing in Fel. I was getting it to work back to back, but now I am having no success. I tried Tram as well, and couldn't get it to work.

I have no clue...It was so easy at first, and now im having no luck so to speak

How do you know, I'm not testing right now... it's not because I'm not Mr.GVP who found out the bug that I'm not helping.

Yeah. Read up on the herald. There's a bit that says fixed an issue with the respawn timer on the Ahuaeyjnkxs in Shame. Says he plays Siege with the lights turned off .

EV bug--check. Item bug--check. Troll on. Only thing you tried to test was the patience of others. Oh well, on to the next thread ;D.

Due to the critical issue found on Origin we are going to revert it to the last publish datewhich was 11/1. We are sorry for the time lost, but do not want you to lose any more items because of this issue. As you know Origin is a test server, and from time to time we have to fix things here by reverting. We appreciate your understanding and willingness to take this all in stride.

• Loot fix in Shame that was causing player items to be reformatted.
• You can now drag and drop items into the SOT Book and Seed boxes
• Corrected an issue with obtaining the Seed box in the Veteran Reward System
• Summoned pets will no longer attack each other
• Fixed an issue with the respawn timer on the Cave Troll in Shame

Thank you G.V.P... its heartwarming that you take the time to correct me.

You see, from my perspective, sometimes the most obvious dev errors to you will look like hope to me, and I will hold unto it like the last piece of bread in the universe.

But thats besides the point, since I am not including anyone else in those challenging and opposing remarks, it is obviously not trolling.

Trolling would be something people who stand to gain from it would do, but I assure you, and I guess you must have enough guts to admit that even if I'm an old rusty vet who cannot solo Baracoon and much less PVP ; that I hope for the things that make UO more Ultima in nature.

This for me was wonders of childhood, I tought wow, they made the EV again wild like it was supposed to be. (its advantage is speed and strength, but you have to keep a dispel ready in case he goes nuts) and if yu want a controlable monster instead, you can well summon an earth elemental !

You see, its the other way around...

people could say : well I do not agree with you Ahu, my opinion is that EVs were fine as they are...

and logically you'd even expect people to ignore my comments...

but I get all this hating, people reporting my everypost... I have a group of followers who just WAIT for me to make an error on here so they can report it instantly...

and you guessed it... most of them are the worse trolls we had around here who I put back in their places...

btw... an EV is not a summon PET.. its a freakin WILD ENERGY VORTEX...

I honestly can't remember anything you've brought up on UHall, and I imagine it's because you're a lurker. Nothing wrong with that, but talk about bringing a knife to a gunfight.

I've played UO for 12 years and I've been on Stratics for probably 10 years. I contribute UO information and pictures every week on Stratics, and from time to time UO Guide as well. It's not that hard to get 8k posts over 10 years when you contribute regularly, and there are plenty of oldies on Stratics who would have had the same if not for the lost post counts.

I called Ahuaeyjnkxs out because he needed to be called out. I'm not trying to be "king" of anything, I'd just rather talk to people than ignore or report them, because I have nothing against Ahuaeyjnkxs as a person (especially since he is a oldie, and there are few oldies left). Still, he and I are going to agree and disagree on Ultima, and I don't see anything wrong with that.

Speaking of which, Ahuaeyjnkxs, yes, I understand your opinion on how EVs should function, but the EVs on Test/Origin were obviously bugged and your "opinion" was more of a re-imagination of UO history. It's sort of like back when people began QQing about the Greater Dragon nerf, suggesting the melee DPS was lowered when it wasn't. If no one corrects misinformation then I will, and I expect the same from others.

Of course, in the case of the EVs I doubt anyone thought it was a feature ;P.

I'm just a bit... umm whats the word, jaded ? That everytime I go out hunting with a mage everyone just casts EVs because they are better than the elementals and have no negative aspect...

So it's always EV EV invis EV EV invis... you know Especially on siege its irritating.

But yes I tend to do that... especially when a dev change something... I wonder why I hold this eternal hope of things coming back old school.

It should have died with Cal and his fake promises we called out right when he became producer, but somehow its still there *obviously* hehe
